Try hard, if you will, to perceive the worth of atheism and if you make a proper assessment of its worth to any portion of mankind, it will be revealed to you that atheism is a demonic ideology or religion that is utterly worthless, to say the least. It darkens the minds of its subjects and bring curses upon every facet of human life.

The two basic responsibilities every person of mankind has are to love God more than all else and to love mankind. Atheism accomplishes neither one of these responsibilities. It blasphemes against God and brings harm and death upon mankind.

Atheists are not fit to be parents; they are not fit to be employed in any portion of any society; they are not fit to be any kind of leaders in any society, nor are they fit to serve in any area of public trust. Atheism makes every person who embraces it unfit for any good work.

Atheist are not even fit to live. They have forfeited the right to life by virtue of being unfit for any good thing.

The decline or absence of morals in any society can be traced to atheism or the like. All the problems in every facet of society the world over can be traced to atheism, or denial of God and disobedience to him. The rapid increase in crime the world over can be traced to the same. Atheism has nothing good to offer any society.

Atheism is so heinous and does so much harm that there is desperate need for legislation against it. It is not an ideology, philosophy or demonic religion which should be allowed to exist and flourish in any society. Every atheist should be regarded as high criminals by all governments who have no right to live on the earth.

I realize that the article "Atheism Detrimental to Society!" is a parody of the insane hatred some theists feel towards those who lack belief in the gods, but I thought the article should be commented upon anyhow. Parody is often lost on those who actually hold the beliefs of what is being parodied.

Did you know that Fundamentalist Christians are very close to being atheists? It's true: out of the hundreds of thousands of gods, they only believe in five or six. To a Hundu this is close enough to atheism to be atheism. Indeed, when the Christian cult first started, the Romans considered them atheists.

Atheism means "without theism." It is therefore no more a "religion," nor no more "demonic," than the lack of belief in Santa Claus.

An atheist is one who lacks belief in the gods. This says nothing about their humanitarianism (i.e. how liberal they are); it says nothing about how fine they are as parents; it says nothing about their morals, ethics, or virtues.

The parody is best viewed for what it is by swapping the word "Jew" or "Negro" where one reads "atheist." Just as people are born Jewish or Black, every human being ever born was also born atheist. Let's see how Lee's parody reads when we do a swap, shall we?

If Lee's parody were valid, one would expect the behavior of theists to be morally and ethically superior. Unfortunately, this is not the case. When one looks at prison incarceration, one sees Christians most represented, and atheists UNDERPERPRESENTED per capita (USA population has roughly 13% atheists, and yet prison population is 0.209% atheist: see http://holysmoke.org/prison.htm). Out of 74,731 prisoners, 156 are atheists; 62,594 are Christian; 5,435 are Muslim; 1,325 are Jewish. Given a conservative 10% of USA population being atheists, one would expect 7,473 atheists in prison: the data suggests that atheists commit fewer crimes than theists.
