Hello,
Assuming that that this cartoon character has quoted the Bible correctly... we can see that Paul was as out of it as any lunatic you might want to mention. Talk about incoherent psychotic vegetable salad! It's more than obvious that Paul was a useless fool with serious mental problems... most likely organic ones linked to his probable temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE). My friend the TLE patient has also been diagnosed as a psychotic.... It's not entirely clear if this was a misdiagnosis of her TLE (the psychotic daiagnosis came long before they discovered her TLE) or if it's a problem she has in addition to TLE. But either way we can see that Paul was likewise afllicted.
It's both tragic and hilarious to see someone look up to a diagnosable head case as an authority of some sort... and quote the irrational ramblings of a deluded brain damage case as if they had some real-world meaning. Why don't we read the 25,000 word treatise offered up by Donald Crowhurst as holy scripture too? (Reference "The Strange Last Voyage Of Donald Crowhurst" Nicholas Tomalin and Ron Hall)
Sincerely,
Caroline
