Brent, Graham, and I were out there just after 7 am. We parked on the
east end this time, under (*)'s gaze. Graham's sign said "LRH was on
psych drugs when he died" on one side and "Scientology: the 'Church' of
fair game" on the other. Brent had "NO OTs Here" and "The Squirrels are
INT management."
Mine was "The Church with a body count on one side" and "No OTs etc" on
the other.
Richardson and thug two came out. I spoke to Richardson about the
defective service (no witness fee). He was kind of shocked, and so was I
that he didn't know about yet, since I had posted about it on the net last
night. He said he would let them know. Other than this exchange, neither
of them were very talkative to me. They were mildly harassing Graham and
Brent. We got a few more digital photos of us and signs in front of the
Golden Era sign.
Last couple of time Frank has bugged me about chewing gum. This morning
he was chewing bubble gum and *almost* blowing bubbles. Thinking about
blowing scn Frank? There has got to be a better job than walking up and
down Hwy 79 and bending over in front of Graham.
We went all the way to the Ashlee Shaner memorial, stopped for a moment of
reverence there and started back on the north side of the road.
At this point we split up to cover all the places where the buses can turn
off the highway.
While I was waiting on the east end, a truck pulled up at the gate. It
stayed there at least ten minutes, the people looking at my sign before
someone was roused out to unlock the gate and let them in. The number on
the side was 888-803-0101, Inline Plumbing. Around this point, Edwin
wanted to know if the sunblock in my pocket was dangerous.
At 7:57 the first of the big buses went by. The people inside got a first
class view of my sign. The driver wouldn't wave. :-(. I had a good view
of the people inside, so they had a good view of my sign. Oh boy, there
will be nattering today. One of the Sea Org people rides a bike to gold
base, he came along just after the buses.
After the buses went by, we got back together. Brent was really hurt that
they had not dug up another thug for him, because when we split,
Richardson went with me and Frank Petty (thug 2) went with Graham. Graham
mostly hung out over the east underpass. He nearly kept the staff from
using the plaza or the underpass. He could see them peeking out from
either side and pulling their heads back if the saw him. Brent took the
main gate and I took the west gate, and with that combination, much of the
staff was late for work this morning. (When we were not at the wast gate
they were running the big buses across Hwy 79.)
Scn induces such psychological weakness in its staff that three guys with
picket signs have nearly the effect of baracading the gates with barbed
wire. It is silly, silly, silly. About this point Richardson was asking
why I was talking to myself, and I told him I was taking notes for this
report. We then talked a bit about the guys who were seen last night
messing with our cars, the PIs who are frying out in the sun all day, and
the fact that the Hemet cops think this is a PI *clown* act come to town.
As I walked away from the west gate (would have stayed longer, but we had
a breakfast appointment) and went east to between Brent and Graham a whole
*line* of backed up cars and buses crossed the highway. Graham we found
had kept the plaza clear except for a few guards on motor cycles.
As Brent and I walked back to the car, someone went by beeping their horn.
Brent asked what I was paying them, and I told him the official rate was a
nickel a beep, and that the last guy had just earned a quarter!
One or two more people could entirely cut the north and south sides of
gold base from each other. Perhaps they should just go to telecommuting.
All together, I was a *fine* morning of enturbulation. There are *many*
more to follow.
