Subject: Picket-- gold base
Friday:
Out to gold base just before 7 am. "Tree tech" over the east underpass is
just amazing. They have about 50 plants still in pots and 6 15 foot high
pine trees in planters which must be a cubic meter in size. As a guess,
they moved in several tons of plants. They want to plant the big trees
over the east underpass, but I don't think the soil is deep enough.
I think I will go out there a few times late at night and see if I can
surprise the gardener crews. There was a major water leak on the north
side of the road, near the east end of the curb. It had generated a swamp
by the road. Today it was fixed, making walking easier. Thanks whoever
did that.
After almost two hours, I split to take care of other entheta business,
getting back for an additional hour around 12:30. More entheta kept me
away till near 5:30 when they got another hour.
There was more of the cars backing away from the gates, and the west
underpass/plaza has very light traffic.
Though they are a considerable minority, more people are frankly looking
at my signs.
A lot went on today which it would not be entirely prudent to talk about.

I think this got canceled-- no problem, I saved a copy.
Out before 7:30 today, good time, caught the buses, bunch of cars crossing
the road and a whole gaggle of them walking to the east underpass. Temp
is warm, humid too. (*)'s shorts must be in a knot, he had people out
planting bushes all night. I wonder if they will be on nocturnal missions
tonight? And what is an SP on their doorstep doing to the internal moral?
Perhaps those OT powerz aren't as advertized?
They are not letting cars cross the highway when I am near one of the
gates. One time this morning I was at one, two cars backed up and went to
the other gate. So I ran up to the other gate (the two gates are about
100 yds or so apart). Didn't really expect to head them off, it is
slightly uphill and even without a sign, I am not much on sprinting. But
to my surprise, I caught about 6 cars crossing the hwy and they all had to
look my direction because even OTs need to look for oncoming traffic :-)
At least 200 of them saw my sign this morning. Other stuff going, but I
will get out there again today.
Incidentally, they made a half hearted effort to picket my wife's work
yesterday and picketed my house in Palo Alto with a small crew in the
evening.
Assuming they picket my house again today, the count still stands at me
owing them 8 days of pickets at gold base above and beyond what I was
going to do anyway.

PS I talked to the Highway Patrol and (also) have a lot more information
about the Ashlee Shaner death.
Golden Era did ask them to work late and finish. They were in the process
of moving a paving machine to a place were it could be picked up in the
morning, and were using the front loader to block the highway so the very
slow paving machine could cross.
It seems the front loader did have lights, but the part of the front
loader which had the lights was in the opposite lane, and only the rusty
dark bucket was hanging into oncoming traffic. But if Ashlee had managed
to miss the bucket on the shoulder, she would have smacked right into the
paver--though she might have lived through that.
They recommend manslaughter charges be brought against the front loader
driver.

Sat, second report.
I was involved with other matters of entheta till mid afternoon. Including
collecting a certain batch of addresses. <grin>
About the same, more people backing away from the east gate, more people
frankly looking at my signs, a few waving. I gave away a fair number of
Xenu flyers to people who stopped, perhaps 8 today. Lots of friendly
waves and honks. Not being a "clear" I forgot to bring my tape recorder,
so I have spent little time near the parrot, but he is still there. (*)
put up a blue tarp to hide under (perhaps only from the sun). I have a
photo, will try to get this last batch developed, scanned and posted
within a few days. (Sorry about the first batch, the second death wiped
out my time to get them processesed.)
They are still picketing my house in Palo Alto. My daughter's friends (who
are *very* up on this stuff) were going to play with the picketers heads
this morning. But they didn't have time because they had a TV taping to
do. When they came back, there were only two left, and those looked so
bedraggled that they didn't have the heart to mess with them. I did ask
them to get some tape. I really should put up a web camera. If anyone
wants to set one up be my guest.
I may think of more to post later.

I had settled down to thinking this was going to be an endless series of
boring pickets enlivened with only little tidbits, like a clam taking a
xenu flyer (advertized as OT3) through the fence or seeing a sprinkler on
a hose run for over 24 hours on one soggy spot, the silly emergency tree
plantings, or the cars backing away from the gates.
Well, it was not to be. This morning was dull enough, I stopped on my way
out to collect more addresses near one of the two clam bed apartments
(there will be another post on what to do with the addresses). Either
they leave those buses there one heck of a long time, or they are under
orders not to load as long as I am there. Am I that dangerous even
without a picket sign? Anyway, I did another picket for an hour or so
this morning ending at ten or ten thirty.
Other entheta kept me away from more picketing till late in the afternoon,
about 4:30. I had walked less than 100 yds from my car which was parked
beyond the east overpass when I looked back to wave at traffic and saw two
guys walking toward me. This time it was not friendly locals, but scinos,
Eliot Richardson, the guy who choked me in LA two years ago, and another
heavy set dude who really didn't want his photo taken (and compared to . .
?).
I profited from Bob's experience. They threatened me, got in my face and
started bull baiting me (child molester etc. per parishoners.org) What
they were after was to bash themselves on my sign or get me to bash them
and fall down like Howd. I wasn't having any of it, so I jumped into the
roadway. They spent the next ten minutes trying to bull bait as they
chased me back and forth in the roadway while I flagged down about 20 cars
and asked them to call the cops. It if was not so rushed, it would have
been funny like the three stooges. Every time I would talk to someone in
a car, they would quit bothering me so they could tell the driver I was a
mad bomber or child molester or both. As if this kind of DA would keep
them from calling the cops!
They were (I presume) under orders not to kill me, and so, just pushing me
under the wheels of a passing car was not an open option for them. Three
deaths in 6 weeks all linked to gold base would likely be the end of them.
(But I am not so interested in in speeding thing up to go *that* far.)
After a *long* ten minutes, of which I might have some confused photos
(and they certainly have a complete video tape) they wound up on the South
side of the road, and I was on the North side close to the suppressive
parrot's abode. I think they decided that being in the middle of the road
when the Highway Patrol showed up would not gain them any points. Officer
Labaron was the first to respond. (I would really like to know how many
911 calls they got from the passengers of the cars going by.)
I let them get first chance to talk to the officer when he pulled in at
the gate. They gave the officer a shore story about trying to "interview"
me (spitting in my face from 6 inches!). He informed them that it was not
safe to distract someone who was walking along the side of a busy highway
and that they should figure out a better place to do interviews.
Then he talked to me. All the officers know I have been picketing out
there for a considerable time. They are concerned with the danger of
picketing that location, but they are also fully aware that if people want
to protest, they have a constitutional right to do so. (And, if you are
alert, and not being set upon by bull baiting clams, it is not very
dangerous.)
He got a tight summary of the net vs scn battle, and took away a xenu
flyer and one of the flyers I made up for my neighbors-- which has a bunch
of URLs on it. He also found out why I have reason to fear these people,
and was amazed that I have video tape on the net of the previous time
Richardson jumped me. (Photo of neck bruises too.) Gave me more than
adequate justification for getting away from them into traffic. About
this time Ken Hoden showed up with a woman who was half a step from
hysterics. I said hi. For someone with the list of problems he has, he
was looking good.
The Sheriff officer (a woman named Judge) showed up later and got the same
flyers. We talked about Stacey Myer, chain lockers, shore stories, and
what to put in a search engine. The Highway Patrol also sent out Sarg.
Crawford. He gave me helpful advice about picking places with a longer
view of the road to cross--which I will certainly take.
The officers have the hardest time understanding what motivates a person
of education and accomplishments to put so much effort into breaking the
cult when I have no personal connection, like a family member who has been
victimized. (The scientologists think I am being paid by the marcabs, and
who knows? They might be right. I can't tell who sends me donations.)
"Someone has to protest" is the best I can do to explain my motivation.
(Last time I was the "someone" I learned how to put cryonics patients on
cardiac bypass.) I put in another circuit around the west end (noting that
there was a lot more scns than I had yet seen walking in sight of me)
moved my car to the west end, put in one more circuit on the west end,
moved the car to the east overpass under (*)'s nose and thumbed mine at
him and his 40,000 sq ft. house while doing a little more picketing. It
was about 5:30 when I packed it in so I could do this report.
(*) should read the first (or maybe second) chapter of Revolution From
Rosanante and consider how many unstable former scientologists there are.
If I were in his shoes (not that they would fit), I sure wouldn't live
there.
Gold base brought themselves to the attention of the police again when
they are already under investigation. Put gold base, Richardson, Hoden
and (*) down for a big win. You boys are in a condition of power already
this week.
There is FAR more going on than what gets into these accounts. It is less
exciting than today though.
Back in the morning.

The photos from Sunday, July 2 are at
ftp://ftp.netcom.com/pub/hk/hkhenson/temp
I want to move them to umbra xenu, but have been way to busy recently.
File "water" shows a sprinkler which is mostly spraying through the fence.
It was left on for at least 24 hours. No clears at gold base, or they
would have remembered it.
thug1 is Eliot Richardson coming after me, trying to get in my face. I
didn't recognize him at first, though I knew I had seen him before. Guess
I am not a clear either.
thug2 is a shot after I started walking toward the main gate. I was
interested in getting into the camera view, and the more witnesses the
better, even if they are scientologists. You can see how Heavy Thug (HT)
reacted to a camera in this and several other shots.
thug3 is further toward the gate.
thug4, got him! Who is this guy? Anyone know him?
thug5 is down by the main gate, me trying to get away from these guys and
them trying to crowd me.
thug5-10 are various shots from places in the road or from one side or the
other as I crossed back and forth--stopping cars.
thug 11 is HT DAing me to a driver who stoped.
This morning I got out there before 7am. I was not early enough to follow
the buses back to the two clam apartments, but all four went by my picket
signs within a ten minute period close to 7 am.
The buses make another run after this. I followed one of them over to the
apartments on Kirby and found one at the Fruitvale Apartment as well. The
first one tried to shake me off, hard to do in a bus, and stopped for a
while at a gas station to call. They sure are paranoid. The Fruitvale
apartments have a security guy playing hide and seek in the bushes with a
radio. I offered him an OT3/Xenu flyer. It was somewhat like offering
garlic to a vampire, but I could tell there was a certain degree of
fascination--because otherwise he would never find out what OT3 was all
about. Ah well, there are several Xenu flyers inside gold base, perhaps
he will see one.
I went back out about noon, parked on the west end by Ashlee's memorial,
and started back. Soon as I started toward the main gate Eliot Richardson
came walking toward me. I went back to my car, and went by him and
started picketing on the east end by (*)'s palace. As expected, it was a
short picket because here came ER on the South side and HT with a camera
on the North side of the road. (I got photos of both but didn't get them
developed today.) That area over the east underpass is not so hot (limited
visibility to the west over the hill) for playing in the road, so I decide
I would pack it in for the day, work on other aspects of entheta such as
scanning in photos and get reinforcements for the 4th and 5th. As I was
leaving, a Highway Patrol car came along. I considered chasing him down
for a clam encounter, but decided not to bother the Highway Patrol two
days in a row (it's a busy holiday).
The fun with Eliot and HT inspired some kind soul to buy me a cell phone.
Thank you very much. And thanks to the people in California, Oregon,
Ohio, New Mexico, and other places who have sent donations. Fred is
working on me to sign up with PayPal for accepting small donations. I am
not certain this will be safe for donors or if the records could be
exposed by court orders--though with as much of scn's resources being tied
up by me and others, going after someone who sends me a few bucks seems
unlikely.
If anyone knows how secure PayPal is against court attacks, let me know.

Lousy analogy...what's burning? Keith's career? Scientology? Society at
large? You know, working 9 to 5 isn't the only way to make a living.
American culture applauds those who stand up for their beliefs. Keith
firmly believes that scientology needs to be brought to heel for its
abuses, and I agree. Sacrificing income demonstrates to me that Mr.
Henson is motivated more by truth than money, and his actions show it.
He is
1. Picketing at the very maw of the cult in Hemet.
2. Letting people know that there are folks out there who will stand up
against them and protest their actions.
3. Providing information to the public about the actions of the cult.
Pretty noble, f'ya ask me! How about you, 'Walt,' if that is your real
name! Made any sacrifices lately for the greater good? Are you a free
man, or a scientologist?

I didn't go out till after noon today, it is Independence day the prime
national holiday. But I wanted to know if they had a US flag flying in
the plaza.
On the way out, I saw a Highway Patrol officer with a stopped car. So I
turned around, stopped, parked and talked to Officer Mushaney. Officer
Mushaney knew *exactly* who I was because the clams had delivered a tape
of me in the middle of the road for the officers to watch and as a result
cite me for jaywalking. The officers who looked at the tape concluded I
was trying to get away from Edwin Richardson and the other thug (who does
not seem to be Brian Reichenberg). So, with a comment or two about this
being a fine day to celebrated the First Amendment, and a comment of
approval for having a cell phone, I was on my way over to gold base.
Parked at the west end next to where Ashlee was killed, got out my sign
and started walking to the east. Sure enough, here comes Edwin and thug
2. So I got on 911 and reported as they were walking down the road to me.
Edwin took a bad step in some wet sand on the south side of the road and
went down hard, but since it was sand he didn't seem to be hurt much.
Thug 2 crossed over behind me and Edwin got in front. He stopped, forcing
me to either go in to the street or further onto scn property, while thug
2 was talking into a radio or cell phone about how I had stepped on
precious scn property. But with it obvious I was talking to 911, they
kept back about 6 feet. We got up a little beyond the suppressive parrot's
location on the east side of the main gate when along comes Officer
Mushaney. Mushaney got out and told Edwin and thug 2 to stay where they
were till the Sheriff got there. I asked and was free to continue the
picket, which I did, well beyond the east underpass and started back. As
I crested the hill and could see Officer Mushaney's car, another officer
drove up who I think was Officer Alford. Shortly after that Deputy Craig
arrived. As I went by on the south side of the road, I noticed Ken Hoden
was out there. I continued down the south side to my car, crossed, and
went back to the east on the north side of the road.
About that time, Officer Luebs (who I have mentioned before) came along.
Not wishing to intrude on this conference beside the road, I crossed back
to the south west of the main gate. One of the officers yelled that they
wanted to talk so I stopped and went back to where they had crossed the
road. We had a friendly conversation about the limits the thugs were
under (they have to stay well out of reach and are not to talk) and being
careful on the roadway. The officers highly approved of the use of a cell
phone instead of jumping out in the road and stopping cars to ask them to
call for help.
They allowed as how they were kind of busy with patroling I10, six miles
to the north, but that protecting constitutional rights was important
enough that they did not mind having this kind of chat with the
scientologists whenever it was warranted. (Police in the US, especially
elite ones like the CHP, tend to be highly patriotic.) Ken Hoden came by
and warned me to stay off private property, but he knows that I have the
right to walk on their property if required for safety.
Incidentally, except for the west underpass, they seem to have given up
trying to keep gold base staff inside. Many of them were out there
looking at the spectacle of 4 police cars talking to the thugs and Ken
Hoden. I think I got a photo of Ken today. I got one two or three years
ago and they will be interesting to compare. Might just be normal aging,
but I think he looks a lot worse. (Or maybe he looks good for someone
with the sort of problems he has.)
As usual, the scns took a bad situation and made it worse. This is the
*one* thing you can count on. The CHPs officers say the thugs will be
walking with me much of the time. This should be fun because *I* don't
seem to be under any instruction not to talk about space cooties. Not to
mention that three people are a more impressive picket even if two of them
are not carrying signs.
All in all, it was an interesting hour of picket. I might do another in
the evening.

I waited till after six to picket again. I kept looking for Edwin and
thug2 on my way from the east end to the main gate, but I must have caught
them at dinner. A older heavy blond dude picked up walking behind me at
the gate. Thug 2 came out as I went back toward the main gate and Edwin
Richarson caught up with us at the east end. They were well behaved
thugs, trudging along fully 10 feet in front and behind and not saying a
single word.
Amazing what a long heart to heart talk with the cops will do.
Only thing I said to them was to warn older blond to watch his footing
where Edwin fell down, and to warn Edwin that walking backward among the
sprinkler head was not a good idea. I will bring a Xenu flyer for my
captives tomorrow.
When we reached the east end, I realized that I was up to 4 people. That
is much more impressive than one guy carrying a sign, so instead of
calling it a night, I made another circuit down to the west end and back.
About halfway between the east end and the main gate there was the
strangest sound. Some woman was leading at least 50 people where she say
about a sentence and the group would make a response. Any of the former
members have any idea of what they would be doing? It was real close to
7:15 pm.
By the time our parade of three reached the east end, it was getting close
to 7:30 and dusk is not the best time for pickets because drivers have a
hard time seeing. So I packed it in. More tomorrow.

Out there 4 times today, so this is going to be short.
Played a little with one of the vans which take the clams from the
apartments to gold base. If we really got on it, with half a dozen
vehicles I think we could totally disrupt gold base because they go any
direction but where they should when someone is following (as if where
they are going is anything but obvious).
Other heavy duty entheta from 8-10. Back at gold base before ShyDavid and
Barb got there about 10:30. I will let them post on this phase which ran
to after 12:30 and a follow up in the afternoon about 4 pm. I went back
and gave them another hour and a half starting about 6 pm. The older guy
(who is more like gray) was paired with Edwin all day, no sign of thug 2
who might have been Reichenberg.
Friends called me about PIs digging into my disreputable past in Tucson.
I told them not to deny *anything*, especially the "psycho-sexual
gratification." LOL! I asked them to write up the episode and send it to
me to post.
It was a long day, I will let Barb and David fill in. Only one addition,
there were *three* ground squirrels run over in the road near (*)'s house
today. I got photos, but am not sure that road kill is worth posting.
But for sure the road is a lot harder on ground squirrels than
transformers.

After playing a little with the buses, I got out there about 7 am, parked
on the west end next to where Ashlee was killed.
Thug2 (who did not show yesterday) and the older guy came trudging down
from the main gate. Thug 2 came up close and started right in bull
baiting. I called 911, and he split back to the guard house, and Edwin
took his place. After thug 2 went into hiding, I canceled the 911 call.
I only did one end to end circuit before something else came up which
(eventually) involved going over toward San Diego. Spent about an hour in
stopped traffic on Hwy 60 because a truck full of boulders spilled them
all over both sides of the roadway. I have pictures which (if anyone is
interested) I can scan and post.
I am back in Palo Alto for a few days. I can assure you that more
picketing of gold base is coming up. If you want to be part, let me know.
And my sincere thanks to those who are sending gifts to support the
picketing. I had rather you picket, but for any reason from corns to
there not being a scn org for a thousand miles, you can support others.
