All of that and more. We (Kim S. and I) never saw the judge, who sent his
minions out to deal with us. The result was that there will be a hearing
at 9 am on September 14. That's one more day I have to be in LA because
Moxon and Kobrin "pulled it in." Long as I am there, why not picket? I
know they are getting orders from (*) to "handle" me, but (*) must wonder
why every move they make causes more trouble for scientology. It is
almost as if they were *trying* to wreck the cult.

> At about 10:00 a.m. Keith Henson arrived.
And the first thing I saw after parking was Richardson with his
camcorder. Much of the time he was taping me, I was taping him. Again
he was in silent mode.
> He was armed with his usual picket sign and a heavy supply of Xenu
> flyers. He was going to carry his message to the growing audience. I,
> however, drove off to "big blue"
We had coffee first and I taped Graham walking up and down the sidewalk
right in front of their place for a few minutes before he left. The
clams had two sweet young things out there giving out cards that could be
redeemed for a free tour through the LRH life exhibit. The must have
given out somewhere between a hundred and a thousand of those cards to
get one live body inside.
I promptly gave out all the Xenu flyers I had with me. There did not
seem to be a copy shop on Hollywood, but someone directed me to a store
(where Richardson came in with his camera) and the people in the store
directed me to a place two blocks away on Sunset. The copy shop manager
thought that Richardson hanging out on the sidewalk in front and taping
through the front window was really weird. I explained that he was a
scientologist-PI, which cleared up everything.
With a good supply of flyers I went back on my station across Hollywood
(keeping a distance because they likely had Barton inside ready to run
out if I came within range). Richardson being silent was an asset. When
I gave out flyers, I would point to him and tell the person that he was
my very own scientologist-PI who had been following me for several
*weeks* and taping me. People were amazed by this story along with my
mention that Richardson was under a scientology vow of silence. A few of
them tried to communicate with him and, of course, failed. There were a
number of interesting conversations with people who concluded that the
scientologists were much crazier than I was, and one story by a woman who
had been taken for a lot of money about ten years ago.

I couldn't tell if it had an entrance on Hollywood or around the corner
on Ivar. I have tape of the front of the building.

Ed who had been within 5 feet of me most of the time I was there backed
off 25-30 feet when Graham showed up. I really don't understand this.
At one point I went back to my car for more flyers. As I was walking
back I came upon a van being packed with sea orgers. I was able to stand
there practically in their face showing them my NO OTs sign and
"Infested with dead space aliens" sign for several minutes. They made
light of it, but I could tell it affected them in a disturbing way.

I ate lunch, and since the place I ate was close to the copy shop, I went
back and got another batch of flyers. I toyed with them at Hollywood and
Ivar for a little and then moved over to the CC to distribute more flyers
and put in a short picket on the far side of Franklin. As Mirele has
said, that is one of the friendliest places in the world to picket. The
people who run the bookstore wanted a number of Xenu flyers.
After leaving the CC I drove in a direction where my intent, picketing
over at big blue or getting on the freeway was not clear--even to me. At
one point I spotted Frank Petty in the new white Honda 625 with red
letter Pacific Beach sign in the license holder. I stopped, Frank came
out of a side street and went across an overpass on the 101 freeway.
I then took the entrance to the freeway and got into heavy traffic at once
even though it was only about 3 pm. It was an uneventful, if slow, drive
out to gold base, i.e., no sign of being tailed (not that it being tailed
was any big deal) but Frank must have been close behind. I parked on the
east end under (*)'s house and Frank came out of the main gate by the time
I reached it. Frank was under the same orders as Ed, no chit chat.
I did one circuit of gold base and split for Ida's place. Between us it
was, as Ted Mayett would say, a four org kind of day.

PS So I don't have to upload another file, Friday I stayed at Ida's place
most of the day getting these reports done. Not picketing gold base seems
to upset them even more than picketing, the neighborhood simply swarmed
with PIs. Late afternoon, Ida got a call from a neighbor about one of the
PIs being parked down the street and went out to ask him if he wanted to
join us for dinner. She tried on the white car and when it was replaced,
the green one, but they would not let her talk, so she settled for taking
pictures. This evening I had to get something at a nearby store so I
stirred them up a bit, and on the way back, got behind one of them. He
(or she, they have at least one woman on the crew) had the sense to drive
by Ida's place where I pealed off tailing them and put my car in the
carport.
PPS. I have been fighting upload problems for hours. I am not sure if
they will get an early picket or not.
