I don't know Zinj. Scientology turned out to be a good deal more
of a challenge than I originally thought. It has been like pulling
out some awful weed where you find that 95% of it is underground.
I have been surprised at the depth to which scientology has corrupted
the government and the sluggishness of social immune reactions to
become aware of the damage.
The problem with scientology is that you can teach them to leave the
net alone, because the organization does not learn, or it learns
painfully slowly. Hubbard imposed his madness on scientology in
detail and that madness still controls scientology.
On the other hand, we are certainly well along in the project. I
have not seen it, but Ava produced a declaration recently which
gave a membership number for scientology (US I think) of 45,000.
They have claimed as high as 9 million, now they admit to 1/2 of
one percent of that number. I suspect tangling with the net has
cost them about 75% of members since 1995.
The most likely thing which will take scientology management down
is an internal revolt. If the top management continues to act as
mad as the have been doing, it is only a matter of time.
