Dear Mr. Brewer (or the person designated to handle PIPEDA inquires):
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, I am requesting any information in any form your company has about me. This request includes but is not limited to:
1. Internal correspondence relating to services;
2. The investigator's notes;
3. Investigation occurrence or incident reports;
4. Contractual agreements;
5. Employee time sheets;
6. Photographs, video or audio records, particularly the tape made by your agent Robert Del Bianco (or other spellings of the investigator licensed under # 058439) of me on April 29, 2005, and shown in part to the Brantford police.
7. All other related correspondence or documents.
Please note that the law under which your company operates requires retention of these records for two years under penalty of law.

You may be aware that you are permitted to redact information from
these records that compromises the privacy of another person. To my
understanding a business or even a law firm does not qualify for this
exception, nor does it apply to non-Canadians such as former Gambino
(Mafia) family lawyer Elliot Abelson. The only other reason for
withholding requested information is if you claim that releasing the
information compromises the physical safety of your staff.
In the case you withhold information on either of these grounds the information must be turned over to the Privacy Commissioner’s office for a determination on whether the withheld information in whole or in part will be released to the party under investigation.
I believe we can come to an agreement on these materials. I have a video recorder to make a copy of the tape(s), and am willing to pay for copies of the rest of the materials requested.
Sincerely,
Keith Henson

Incidentally, Solutions Security & Investigations is in one of those places where a bunch of business share a receptionist. I heard the office staff answer for 3-4 different ones when we were there.
The letter was delivered to the reception desk.
I tried to call Mr. Brewer when we were walking in to see if I could hand it to him, but his phone is routed to a cell and he was away from the office. He does have notice of the letter and we got the name of the office staff who took the letter for him.
Of course, if he is working for who I would guess, he will get a call as soon as the previous post hit the net.
I took photos, which among other things, shows the names of the other business. Could post when I get them back from being developed.
More to come.
