I believe it is time for me to post with regard to Keith Henson-the man as I know him.
The $cientology cult has a hey day posting lies about all of the critics-- and the true believers of the Con created by LRon Hubbard continue to spend their days posting as we know.
I know Keith as a kind and generous man. His purpose is quite the same as many of us. When you know something is dead wrong -an effort no matter how small, should be made to expose the racket.Keith and his wife Arel are a very important couple in my life. I have learned from both of them and admire their integrity and constant contributions to society.
Keith came to Hemet, Ca. to picket the Golden Era Productions (front for the International Headquarters of $cientology.) It is also the home of the leader, David Micavige who came into power when old LRH died.
Keith came to picket to bring attention to the tragic death of the young woman, Ashley Shaner. She was killed instantly when her car came in contact with a dimly lit tractor trailor being driven across Gilman Springs Road. The accident date was May l 7, 2000.
Keith came to my home later in the month and I asked him to stay at my place while he continued to picket. Several other critics of the cult's abusive practices came through the summer to exercise their constitutional rights.
One month later , June 25th, Stacy Moxon Meyer fell to her death (electrocuted )in a vault on Gold base . Stacy was twenty years old.
The was the daughter of Kendrick Moxon, one of the cults lead attorneys. Until her death certificate was obtained no notice of her relationship to Moxon was made public.
Another untimely and unnecessary death . The cult was fined $378.00.
This needless death gave reason for the pickets to continue. Keith picketed with out incidents until Ken Hoden (Sea Org ) pulled a citizens arrest. Keith was handcuffed and taken to jail and then released around mid-night. His wife and I spent several hours trying to locate him and find out what had happened. He was then "un-arrested".
Within a short time the PI's hired by the cult and members of the cult started to harass Keith and me in the complex where I live. The neighbors counted and recorded 23 different license plates , some rented, used in this harassment. Muriel Dufresne the PR at Golden Era came to the manager of the complex on a daily basis urging him to tell me just who I could have for guests. We all own our own property here so that was a waste of her time and sadly his too.
Keith and I went out to eat and on returning home decided to pass by Elk and Stetson (Elk bordering my street and Stetson a few blocks away.
There sat a huge RV (at least 38 ft) and only the back drape pulled. This RV was parked on that street for the rest of the summer. In that conversations spoken over my dining room table, were [later] repeated word for word [in court and by Scientology goons], it was apparent the cult has a listening device which was activated at all times. A PI (one from the cult according to the description) parked in front of a 92 year old woman's home.
She is spunky and got up at two in the morning and went out and asked him what he was doing there. He said he was from the FBI which of course was a lie --she called and reported it to me the next day.
All the months that Keith stayed here I never once heard him say a word that would have denoted any hate on his part. When Keith was taken to trial on April l7, 2001 I believe it was with a request from the top officials in the cult to see that he was convicted. What was that about "A Must Convict" notice?
I accompanied Keith and the lawyers the first day and was shocked to see "absolute fear" on Ken Hoden's face. He had asked the police to accompany him out of the court house and either faked cringing or was actually afraid.
I had attended one other trial many years ago which involved the Krishna cult. The state of Calif. had charged a mother with kidnapping her daughter from the cult. Don Wager was the attorney in the case. He represented the mother and we all felt he was excellent in his defense of her. The jury was out only about twenty minutes and she was exonerated. Six months later her daughter and her husband left the Krishna's and hung up their robes.
I might add that Don Wager is now a lawyer in the Scientology fold. I believe he has appeared with Moxon (do not remember the occasion.)
And to get back to the trial which was a different scene. Judge Robert H. Wallerstein was selected to be judge. He was a retired judge if I recall. He has since deceased. The D/A was Robert Schwarz (and he is no longer in the area) Why did he up and leave the area?
Each morning Elliot Abelson (former Italian Mafia lawyer), Rinder or some other lawyer from the cult would strut in and take the front seat. The obese and sneering Rosen flaunted his way in one morning with a huge box of "data" he intended to enter in the court but was denied. That morning my Indian friend was there with her beautiful gold jewelry. Either her striking looks or the jewelry set off that special leer that Rosen seems to harbor.
My friend Maxine, (now deceased) accompanied me each day of the trial. She took notes in shorthand and transcribed them later for me. I was obtaining the transcript from the court and found her notes were identical.
Each day approx. thirty Sea Org members would come in to view the trial. Such a sad looking group of people--- one old man was so tired he kept nodding off from time to time. I noticed their shoes--- all were shabby and cheap looking with run over heels. Some of the Sea Org members were young and a few well over fifty. All seem disinterested and I think they were all too tired to be concerned.
The only one who was dressed decently and sported expensive shoes was the PR woman Muriel Dufresne. She sat waiting to enter the court room, chatting with the detective who had said previously he didn't think there was any case against Keith. He had interviewed me previously. I gave him my condolences as his young son had been killed in a car wreck, driving back to LA from Las Vegas.
And of course every day the $cientology "watcher" sitting in the last row of the room, taking her notes and giving every one that superior look that only an OT can give. :)
Frank Oliver presented his "Hat" (training material recieved before they enter the sea org which includes all data on fair game etc.) Why, after it was entered into the court, was it destroyed ? And why NO reference to this appears anywhere in the court documents? As I sat there I thought this is one weird trial. It seemed to me any thing that would have helped Keith was thrown out or not allowed. Travesty of justice kept rolling around in my mind.
As we went for lunch I noted the one tall blonde woman jurist turn and wave and smile at the former Mafia lawyer Abelson. (I couldn't help but think the first time I saw Abelson he appeared to have slept in his car. I was always told Mafia lawyers dressed to the hilt--- not this one.)
Rinder on the other hand looked pretty neat.
During the recesses the cult lawyers would get Schwarz out in the vestibule of the court house and circle him--- giving him instructions for the next session. Schwarz would look visibly shaken. In fact this young D/A appeared to be on a point of terror when they surrounded him. He left Hemet within a few months following the trial.
Keith had gone to Canada to picket the week before the decision came in. While there he got a message which made him decide to seek refuge status there. I believe he had good cause to make that decision.
I was at the court when the sentence was read. When the five years probation was questioned, Schwarz deemed that it was legal on a misdemeanor.
And the trial was over.
Judge Wallerstein then rose from his chair, looked over at the former Mafia lawyer Elliott Abelson and said "Now I remember you --- I knew you when we were both in Orange County. I didn't say so earlier for obvious reasons."
The only obvious reason, of course, would be that it would have been grounds for recusal.

Please pardon my "top posting"
I can, and will cheerfully, varify under oath that conversations held at Ida's house and over her telephone were later repeated by the crime syndicate's enforcers and goons. In one case, part of a telephone conversion on Ida's telephone was repeated to me (and others) by a Scientology Inc. Private Investigator LESS THAN THIRTY MINUTES LATER.
Yet another extremely odd thing about that trial: every single juror has vanished utterly. None of them still live in Riverside County, and there appears to be no trace of where they went. There is no way of determining if the people on the jury list actually sat on the jury, or if a Scientology Go/OSA goon took a juror's place (by calling up the juror and telling her she was excused from jury duty).
Keith was not allowed to say why he was protesting and picketing; he was not allowed to say what his protest signs said; he was not allowed to point out that the business he was protesting is not a church. Nor was I allowed to testify in the defense of Keith--- I telephoned his lawyer from Hawai'i and said I would quit my job and fly to California just to testify, and I was told the judge already ruled on the issue and that I "need not bother."
This is the state of the "justice" one finds in Riverside County, California. A Mafia mob lawyer sat at the desk of the prosecution, and in plain view whispered instructions to the prosecution, and the newspapers somehow did not see fit to mention that astonishing fact.
