I read the exhibits submitted by Kobrin in Henson's bankruptcy case. It is
my understanding that these exhibits are the same as has been submitted in
Henson's "misdemeanor terrorism" case. Based on my review of the evidence
(remembering that the cult attorneys may have other stuff they're going to
submit), I do not think that there is enough evidence to convict Keith on
any charge.
The cult's major argument is that Keith's singular presence out in front of
Gold disrupts *business*. They also claim that Keith's mere presence
frightens the workers at Gold, but you have to wonder where that fright
came from, as workers at Gold are generally not allowed access to Henson's
major venue, which is the Internet. Personally, I suspect that Ken Hoden
and the rest of the top players at Gold spread this disinformation and
fear around, that Keith had the ability to lob bombs and/or ICBMs over the
fence. I personally think it would be interesting to call a number of low-
level Gold workers to the stand and ask them how they found out about
Henson.
As for the rest of the evidence, the cult claims to have emails sent from a
person which are conveeeeeeniently from the same times that Keith was
picketing out at Gold. The reality is that those emails prove *nothing*.
We all know about remailers, and we also know that it's very possible to
forge emails (as even Kobrin should remember, having had an email forged in
her name). A Scientologist could have been deputized to send these emails
through a remailer and there's not a darn way to prove it. The same thing
goes for the alleged website.
The whole purpose and thrust of this case is to (a) get Henson thrown in
jail for a while and (b) to crimp the constitutional right to air
grievances in a public forum. Given the desperation seen in the evidence,
I would suggest that a lone picketer has had a huge effect on the secret
Gold Base, and Scn is trained on having Keith gone, no matter what it
takes.
Of course, the DA in this case ought to be ashamed for being a toady of the
Church of $cientology. Additionally, he ought to be worried about dumping
a whole lot of the county money into this case, because if Keith is
convicted, it's a surety that this case will be appealed. But, as I said
above, after reviewing what is purportedly the "evidence", that there's no
reason to convict Keith on anything.
Now, Clark_Bor, I have no intention of answering anything you say, unless
you present transcripts of the alleged evidence that the DA is going to
submit at trial. I know that you can get ahold of it, after all, it's the
Scientology lawyers who are using the DA as a puppet and writing his
script.
So don't give me any crap, and Have a Nice Day.
