Dassit. It doesn't matter if Scn is a religion or a floor wax, at this
point. It is for another court to decide whether or not Scientology, inc.
should be allowed to continue to siphon tax dollars from American pockets by
calling itself a religion -- and then use those tax dollars to finance an
army led by lawyers.
I think the language in European statements pertaining to the
de-religionization of Scn, Inc. could be adapted for American use.
But right now Keith Henson has been charged with "interfering with a
religion" whatever that means (wouldn't that apply to Catholic priests who
act out pedophilic urges?), although I cannot for the life of me see how he
has interfered with any Scnist's ability to do Scientology®.
And the ONLY reason he was convicted of one point in three charges is
because Eliot Abelson had his hand in the sock that was the Riverside DA,
and Henson was amazingly not allowed to present his defense.
Anyone at all serving on that jury would NEVER have convicted Keith Henson
of *anything* had they known the whole story. But it is never in Scn, Inc's
interest for anyone to have the whole story. This is why all those fixed
donations and all those unpaid taxes go right into the pockets of legal
eagles like Eliot Abelson; to keep the show going.
