I had an interesting experience this morning talking to CICS, the Canadian CIA. They are supposed to be concerned with foreign influences on the Canadian government. They were given a rather detailed report about our favorite cult. It seems the cult has previously extorted a member of the Canadian government. Recently it was learned that the previously extorted person has moved into a place where they could affect decisions that would be of great utility to the cult. Further the previous extortion *left a paper trail.* "Sorry, that's not our problem. It sounds like a criminal matter, call the RCMP." I understand the difficulty of getting the attention of such agencies, boy do I understand that having interacted with the San Jose office of the FBI for years. I wonder what would have happened if someone had called up the CIA Sept. 9 and said "Two days from now there are 25 guys who are going to . . . ." Keith Henson
