If people will do as I request, emailing me and promising no threats, no harm as above, they have my permission to use my name while picketing, except to authorized law-enforcement officials. Picketing is not yet illegal--except possibly in California and in Clearwater, Florida, where it appears to be claimed to be illegal to picket the "church." (As a friend of mine and I left the San Francisco org after picketing for a half hour on Monday, one of their usual "handlers" was standing nearby. My friend waved goodbye and asked, "Will I see you later?" referring to $-ology pickets of her apartment. The handler asked loudly if that was a threat and, when told it was not, said loudly again "It sounded like a threat to me!"--so evidently saying "See you later" can be interpreted by these lunatics as a threat.) At any site where you feel threatened, the best idea is to call police before hand, tell them you will be picketing peacefully and ask them if they have any problem with that. Carry a cell phone if you can while picketing, and be ready to dial "911" or the local equivalent. Picket with friends if you can. And carry a camera to take pictures back--because they will photograph and/or videotape you--sometimes harassively. Remember that they cannot--*cannot*--come after hundreds and thousands of us, so get involved. Unless the "church" financially implodes from "regging" its members to max out their credit cards and go bankrupt, and from bad investments and Miscavige's gambling, it will take that level of involvement to put them in receivership and their leaders in jail where they belong. I wish "church" members the very, very best--Out. Legal complications that people might find unpalatable are the reason I'm offering alternatives to picketing "churches" that may complain of "threats." I'm willing to take the risk, but I don't blame others who are not. After all, it took me more than 3 years to become an activist, and that was only due to repeated persecution by the "Church" that definitely got in my face and up my nose. As Tory Christman says, "OSA makes its own enemies." Alternatives to picketing that I will accept as proxy activities for my picketing: Send me copies of mail or faxes to congresscritters, law enforcement and government officials recounting $-ology crimes and pointing to affidavits. Email is too easy and won't count--for them or for me. If you are a scientologist, leave the "church"--for good, and email me for help with recovery. Volunteer to personally help critics and the few critical organizations left. Email me for a list. We can all use help with mailings, filing litigation paperwork, etc. Bring or buy critics meals, etc. Any personal involvement will call for "vetting" before acceptance, given OSA spies. Important: Sunday is Mother's Day. $-ology has ripped off more children from mothers and mothers from children than possibly anybody since the slaughter of the innocents. It's a terrible, painful thing to lose a child to a cult. I will accept no proxies for Sunday, May 13, but I do encourage everyone to picket their local $-ology orgs and schools with signs about how they tear families apart *by policy*, cause the suicides of children "disconnected" from their mothers, abuse and encourage divorce from mothers who do not consent to sending their children to $-ology schools, and break the hearts of mothers whose children repudiate them at the command of the cult.
