There is a book out there about the Gambino family which mentions Abelson. Last I heard, at least one person was getting a copy. After the recent trial, Abelson and Judge Wallerstein were taking in the courtroom about where they knew each other. I don't think Abelson is a scientologists, in fact, I think he has utter contempt for them, except that their money is green. I have good reason to believe he is trying his best to avoid being caught in the investigations which will send Wager and several other lawyers to prison.
