Exhibit E is a printed email from the Law Society and my reply to it.

Exhibits A-E support plaintiff's Notice to the Court that there is a conflict of interest in one lawyer's representing both Halton and Toronto. This conflict has prevented settlement negotiations between the plaintiffs in these two cases [841/2001 and 842/2001] and the Halton police.

Exhibit F consists of Toronto Police reports about a picket that occurred May 12 but was not reported to the police until May 14. The complainants are Al Buttnor and Pat Felske. Al Buttnor now holds the position (Director of Special Affairs for the Toronto branch of Scientology) held by Jacqueline Matz when she and scientology were convicted for breaches of the public trust. Pat Felske played a central role in the Casey Hill case as discussed in Exhibit V below.

Exhibit G is a published report I wrote about this picket late on May 12. This copy was obtained from my Immigration file page 49 and 48. I believe it was in Immigration's hands (and the hands of the Toronto Police) well before the arrest of May 28.

Exhibit H is a report (Immigration file page 58) I wrote May 13, 2001 about a conversation with Probation Officer Garry Davis on May 12, 2001. My report is supported in detail by the probation report filed by Mr. Davis.

"Another document shows another person on the Internet site, saying that GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) will not be needed as long as the defendant is standing on the hill providing IR (Infared) illumination of the missiles."

This posting, which I had no control over, was being used to determine my sentence.

This and related human rights abuses are the reasons I am a refugee. I did not report it, but Mr Davis informally told me that (because of political pressure from the Scientology cult) I would not be granted bail while the case was appealed--a process Scientology influence would drag out for years. (May 8, 2002 Scientology paid a judgment of US $8,674,643 to an ex-member they had delayed by spending an estimated US$140 million in legal fees over the past 22 years.)

Exhibit I (Immigration file pages 50-53) is a news release written by Mr. Hagglund late on May 14, 2001 after Mr. Hagglund and I had visited immigration lawyers Mamann and Associates. I was at that time considering becoming a political refugee after hearing Mr Mamann's assessment (of the clear abuses in the record) that I would qualify as a refugee.

Exhibit J (Immigration file pages 54-55) is a news release written by Mr. Hagglund on May 17, 2001 after I had deduced from taunting postings over the previous two weeks that Scientology intended to have me killed by guards or inmates while incarcerated in the Riverside jail. On May 17, 2001 a scientology agent, Gwen Summerfield (Gwen_member@newsguy.com), published on the Usenet news group alt.religion.scientology:

"Yeah, that's "a great man" alright. And for those of you who are comforting yourselves with the delusion that Keith running was somehow morally or politically motivated, think again. Keith ran for one reason only: He's a child molester. And he knows what happens to child molesters in prison."

[Scientology frequently asserts their enemies are child molesters without any evidence at all.]

I think most people would take this as a clear death threat.

Exhibit K is a report from Officer Thrush of the Toronto Police about a picket against Scientology on Victoria Day, May 21, 2001:

"When the officers arrived on scene they observed approximately six males and a female peacefully demonstrating with placards in their hands on the sidewalk surrounding the premise on the front and side."

Officer Bonenfant used rumours of this report, May 31, 2001 to inflame the case presenting officer, to libel Mr. Hagglund in an immigration hearing on May 31, 2001, and to keep me in jail for another 7 days.

Page 5 line 22 [Case presenting officer] "Now, there is more information coming as well from the Toronto Police Fugitive Squad in terms of activities in Canada that he is alleged to have engaged in that would lead to a conclusions that he may pose a danger to the Canadian public if at liberty."

"So at this point, based on my understanding of the Notice of Arrest that you have and the information we have at this point, I am going to suggest to you that the ground of danger apply in the absence of any evidence to contradict that.

Page 6 line 22 [Adjudicator] "And you are seeking the detention on the danger basis at this point base on the information that is contained in the Notice of Arrest?'

Page 6 line 26 [Case presenting officer]

"Yes. In that is it is specified here that, as far as we understand, there is a history of Mr. Henson being involved with and also stating that he is an explosive expert, that there are targeted sites involved in the Church of Scientology. And it is not know [sic] at this point which sites, if any involved Canadian territory. He has made threats against the Church of Scientology, as far as I am aware. On [sic] of the past convictions is involved with that same platform and in addition to which we know he is continuing in that activity. That was one of the purposes for coming to Canada, to continue to protest or picket the Church of Scientology."

Page 21 line 1 [Bonenfant]

"All I know is that Mr. Henson and Mr. Hagglund were involved with an incident down at 52 Division. A report was taken. I have not seen the report because it's at a supervisor's desk who is on holidays. So as soon as that supervisor return, I would be able to see the report and exactly what is outlined in that report."

[It might be noted that other than this one conviction by a corrupted court, I have not been convicted before. Indeed, before I got involved in protesting Scientology I had never even been arrested.]

Exhibit L (Immigration file pages 17 18 and unnumbered) are faxes from Immigration officer Steve Smith to the US Border Patrol dated May 22 and May 24.

Exhibit M (Immigration file pages 23) "Notes to file" reads:

Sandra, This is the file I spoke to you about. Mr. HENSON was recently convicted for hate crimes in the USA. He is a pyrotechnics expert who had threatened the Church of Scientology. The Toronto Fugitive Squad is planning to arrest subject shortly after the warrant is issued. He is also wanted in California for failure to appear. I'll be in at 1500hrs 25.May2001 if you need any more information

--Warrant requested as subject is a flight risk--failed to appear in the USA. Currently under surveillance by MTPD (if not already-should be on Friday) --Also DANGER factor as subject is believed capable of carrying out his threats against the Church of Scientology--given pyrotechnic background. (NOTE: Church of Scientology in Toronto brought Henson's presence to the attention of police)

Exhibit N is the arrest warrant dated May 24, box checked "an inquiry is to be held"

Exhibit O is a document checklist. "Criminality Case" box is checked "NO."

Exhibits G-O establishes that the Toronto officers had been pressing Immigration for this warrant since at least May 22, 2001 and possibly since May 14. The extended time of at least 6 days establishes that this was not an exigent arrest and that they had time to investigate both the background of the plaintiff and the organization driving the arrest process (Scientology).

There is also a serious procedure question of why this immigration warrant was channeled to Toronto and not to Halton where the Toronto Police knew I was known to be staying. Malice would account for the procedural violation and for the Toronto officers' lying to the Halton officers.

Exhibit P, a humorous photo of Bob Minton and so titled at the top of the page is from Immigration file page 73. The handwriting that states, "Photo of HENSON, Keith" is Immigration officer Steve Smith's.

Exhibit P is cause for a person to wonder just how easy it was for cult agents to deceive Immigration officer Steve Smith. It also says something about his cognitive skills.

Exhibit Q is a copy of the Arrest Report, filled out by Halton Officers Mannella and Hasenbacher, signed by Officer Carroll. It states:

Complainant Det. P. Glavin.

"Assist other police service. Susp fled to Canada this A.M. to avoid sentencing in Calf. USA for hate crimes and threats against Church of Scientology. Deemed high risk due to explosives history. Comp located in Oakville by T.O. Fugitive Detectives and surveilled to Mall. Arrested by HRPS and returned to Toronto.

Exhibit Q "fled to Canada this A.M." established that the Halton officers did not look at the warrant (dated 4 days earlier) and were lied to on this point by one or more of the Toronto officers--probably to create a false sense of exigent circumstances.

Exhibit R is a copy of the Halton dispatch log for May 28. At 13:52 the dispatch log records:

"Metro Wanted on immigration warrant. Not a hazard per say . . ." [sci]

It is difficult to figure out which one of the three Metro officers in Oakville that day made this statement to dispatch. If it was Det. Glavin, then 8 minutes later he was (according to Officer Carroll's notes) instructing the Halton TRU to use maximum force in the face of "danger."

This would, however, have been an extremely useful statement to have on the record had things gone badly and Mr. Hagglund tired to smash his way out from what he initially perceived as a gang of thugs hired by Scientology trying to kidnap his house guest. (None of the TRU team was easy to identify as police officers.) It would have permitted the Toronto Police to put the entire responsibility on Halton Police for injuries including deaths of the Plaintiffs, the police officers, and any of the large number of bystanders present by pointing out that the warrant was not criminal, was only for an inquiry, and that the Halton Police had overreacted with the TRU when they had been told "Not a hazard per se."

Exhibit R-1 is a picket report I wrote May 19, 2001 where in recorded conversation with Scientology agent Brian McPherson I mentioned bounty hunters. Mr. Hagglund and I were concerned about bounty hunters though we considered the risk low. Given Scientology's intense investigations of Mr. Hagglund background, they may have known about his training in escape driving. From the FOI records it is obvious that officers Glavin and Bonenfant were in close contact with Scientology's Office of Special Affairs (OSA) also known as their "department of dirty tricks." Because Scientology's policy is to use governments to destroy critics, it would be in character for them to manipulate the police into a situation where deaths of their enemies were probable.

Exhibit R-2 (Example 1) is an account (in a dramatized setting) of an event from early 1995 where OSA (the part of Scientology Al Buttnor works for) had a woman befriend an enemy of Scientology in a bar. She was believed to have drugged the "enemy," went home with him and spread blood in his apartment (on his bed and five feet up on the walls of his bathroom). It was years before the purpose of this bizarre operation was understood; its intent was to get the enemy arrested for murder and kept in jail for a long time while the police tried to find a body to go with the blood. The plan failed because the enemy (Tom Klemesrud) failed to pass out from the drug and called the police.

Exhibit R-3 (Example 2) is a posting by a former high-level Scientology officer.

Subject: TALES FROM THE CULT
Date: 2000-08-24 14:13:02 PST Jesse Prince.

It is about a failed attempt to get a person killed by planting drugs on an enemy in a country with the death penalty for possessing drugs.

Jesse Prince was himself set up on drug charges by Scientology agents.

Exhibit R-4 and R-5 (Example 3) are a declaration and attached documents of Paulette Cooper. Ms Cooper, author of Scandal of Scientology, was framed when the Scientologists obtained her stationary and sent themselves a bomb threat.

There are *many* other examples of scientology manipulating police or other government agencies into acting as their agents in persecuting people. The Casey Hill libel case (Exhibit V below) came out of an attempt to use the Crown to prosecute a Crown lawyer on contempt charges--which were known by Scientology to be false.

Exhibit S (LexView) is about the case where Scientology was convicted of breaches of the public truest in Toronto. The police themselves were victims. From the first page:

"Summary of Facts:

"In 1992, the Church of Scientology of Toronto and Jacqueline Matz, its Director of Operations, were each convicted of two counts of breach of trust under section 111 of the Criminal code. The convictions related to activities carried on by agents of the Church in the 1970's. Adherents to Scientology obtained employment with the Metropolitan Toronto Police, the Attorney General of Ontario, and other government agencies in the hopes of obtaining confidential documents relating to investigations into the Church which could be of use to the Church. In breach of their oaths of office as public officials, they provided copies of documents to the appellant Matz. Matz, as "Director of Operations" of the intelligence arm of the Church of Scientology of Toronto, supervised the members who had been "planted" in the various government agencies."

Matz is also mentioned in Exhibit G, my report of the May 12 picket.

Exhibit T is an April 19, 1997 Globe and Mail story featuring complainant Al Buttnor, second page paragraph 6. Mr. Buttnor correct title is "Director of Special Affairs." That means he works for Dept. 20, the same office with the same policies in Scientology previously held by Ms Matz. (Exhibit G shows that Jacqueline Matz is still involved.)

Exhibit U (Immigration file pages 179 and 185) are pages of a fax dated July 27, 2001 from Steve Smith's office to Steve Smith at Det. Glavin's fax number, (416) 808-4545, indicating the possibility that Officers Galvin and Smith were pursuing to that date a vendetta (on behalf of Scientology?) against me and/or Mr. Hagglund.

Exhibit V is extracts from the ruling of the Supreme Court in Canada in Hill vs. Church of Scientology, file no. 24216. "Every aspect of this case demonstrates the very real and persistent malice of Scientology." Complainant Felske's involvement is discussed in paragraphs 27, 29, 32. Paragraph 32 is typical of Scientology--persisting in using known false information against those it declares "enemy."

Paragraph 59 "What the circumstances of this case demonstrated beyond peradventure to the jury was that Scientology was engaged in an unceasing and apparently unstoppable campaign to destroy Casey Hill and his reputation."

Paragraph 155 ". . . As an experienced lawyer, Manning ought to have taken steps to confirm the allegations that were being made . . ."

The requirement to confirm allegations applies equally to the police, especially when wild allegations are being made by an organization *known* for malice, corrupt manipulation of governments and particularly when--in the working career of some of the these officers, or at least their supervisors--Scientology in Toronto was raided (March 1983) because the Toronto police force was a victim of infiltration by Scientology. It beggars the imagination that these officers were not aware of the history of their own police force in relation to a "church" that has more in common with organized crime than organized religion. (Scientology is not a recognized religion in Canada and, in fact, is not even a registered charity.)

Exhibit W is the Adjudication File Summary by C. A. Simmie. " . . . there is limited information to give rise to the concern he would pose a safety risk here." (Page 3, 2nd paragraph.) It is germane to this proceeding that Ms Simmie took a few hours with all the character attack material Scientology could muster to come to this conclusion. The Toronto officers had at least 6 days with the same material.

Exhibit X is an affidavit by Mr. Hagglund's neighbour. This and the hang up call reported in officer Hick's notes are examples of either malice or particularly unprofessional police activity that has no obvious function except as an attempt to set up a violent confrontation.

Exhibits R-X establishes the institutional malice and methods of Scientology and its agents toward the Plaintiffs and all those who warn others of the dangers to physical, mental, and financial health Scientology presents. These exhibits support a claim that the Toronto police officers were either acting with malice themselves or had been deluded to an unacceptable degree by Scientology agents.

Exhibit Y http://www.religiousfreedomwatch.org/extremists/henson1.html is a hate page from Scientology's web site attacking 54 critics, about a third of them ex members.

"We get notified by Scientology, we check, and he's an undesirable," Toronto Police Fugitive Squad Detective Phil Glavin said of Henson. "We look on the Internet, and he's a self-proclaimed bomb expert."

This list of exhibits is not exhaustive. We expect to obtain more material from the Toronto Police by FOI.

There are tens of thousands of pages about Scientology's abuses and policies of malice and manipulation of governments on the Internet. These may be found with any of the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc.) In Google "Scientology abuse" reports 35,100 pages.
