I have internal information about the DA.
Some cops (and I have the name of one of them) spent months investigating Graham Berry's complaints about the well documented abuses a pack of scientology lawyers (including Wager and Abelson) did in Moxon's Hurtado case against Berry, including that business of paying a jail inmate for testimony.
The prosecution was declined for political reasons, namely that scientology is flat out above the law because prosecuting them is a budget breaker.
I am more than willing to provide the details about law enforcement to other law enforcement, but sadly there is no such group. The FBI isn't any more likely to investigate this one than they did the armed IRS agents terrorizing people for scientology.
The government and the courts are losing respect because they are unwilling to control scientology's rampant abuses. The power and influence of scientology is far less here in Canada, but even here, the expression used is "nobody wants to lift the tail of a skunk."
