Keith, this is one point where I think you missed a wonderful offered opportunity.

Simply to answer 'Because it's *fun* to tweak* them misses the point entirely, even if true.

Admittedly, hindsight makes for brilliant virtual repartee, but, by now you should have a 'canned' answer parat. Like this, for example, although, I think you could do better;

"Your honor, what you see as 'tweaking' is a very necessary strategy. The so called 'church' of Scientology is a subversive organization that intends nothing less than the replacement of *all* social institutions with creatures of its own design; including this court.

They *prefer* to conduct their infiltration, subversion, harassment, sedition and general takeover of all of what they call 'wog' society in the shadows.

Unfortunately for them, they are mandated by doctrines of L Ron Hubbard to 'strike a blow' against any attack, even those specifically allowed by the still in effect constitution of the United States.

What you call *tweaking* is baiting in a sense. Tossing a deliberate lure out in front of a predator who hides, and allowing its intended victims to see it lunge.

Scientology is secret for good reason. It's automatic for good reasons. The reactions that break it out of cover and allow its victims to see it are built in to the monster, and to use constitutionally protected free speech to lure it out of hiding is *much* more than just 'tweaking'.
