There is a lot to what you say. It certainly is what they have done to everyone they can suck into some kind of legal morass.
On the other hand, I am sure they are delighted to see critics spending more effort whacking at each other than going after them.
Re spending people into the ground, my bankruptcy lawyer generated a small binder of exhibits and such for the upcoming trial.
Last week scientology delivered *five banker boxes" to his office of their exhibits.
This is obvious abuse.
But I have to wonder a bit about it. The lawyers know what they are doing is counter productive and a massive waste of money. What I have to wonder, and perhaps the court should wonder, is if lawyers are giving bad advice to RTC (DM and company?) to raise the amount of money they get? Or is it that DM is interpreting LRH as saying that throwing money at lawyers is part of the religion?
Maybe CL is right and this is the way a cabal of lawyers bleeds tens of millions out of the cult.
In any case, the higher spending rate has swamped my ability to pay for it. Even at 50 to one, my legal expenses over the next few months will be $7,000 as they burn through the $350k Rosen said they "expect to spend." That's just too much for someone who has been out of work as much as I have been.
If any of you feel like contributing, the best place it could go right now is to my beleaguered bankruptcy lawyer.
