A while ago someone concerned with law enforcement asked me if I had
any weapons of mass destruction? I replied "no" and then he asked me
if I knew how to make them.
I replied making a joke about banging two sub critical masses of U235 together (one in each hand) but it is really a serious matter.
The important thing is not if someone knows (in a general way or even in a very detailed way) how to make such weapons, but if that person is inclined to make and use them. I am not, and never have been, but on the other hand I am not a cult member
There are millions of people as well informed who have a general idea of how to make such things as nuclear weapons. The general principles you can learn in the 4th grade.
Of the other two "weapons of mass destruction," chemical and biological, I have never bothered to even look up the chemical formula of Vx or Sarin, much less how they are made. But it can't be too complicated because Japan's Aum Shinrikyo cult made enough Sarin nerve gas to kill over a dozen and sicken 6000 in the Tokyo subway.
Everyone who has taken biology has grown bacteria in a petri dish. But the only biological attack prior to the anthrax letters after 9/11 was when the Rajaneesh cult cultured and sprayed Salmonella on 10 salad bars in Oregon in an effort to make voters sick and influence a county election. Within two weeks, 751 people became violently ill.
I hope you see the emerging pattern. If you need further consider the cult aspects of 9/11.
The "Guru Trap" is a term invented by Dr. Timothy Leary. The problem he pointed out with leaders like of Osama Ben Ladin, Saddam Hussein, Pol Pot, Hitler or Stalin is that nobody ever tells them they doing something stupid. The same applies to cult leaders, People's Temple leader Jim Jones, Heaven's Gate's leader Marshall Applewhite, and Joseph Di Mambro, leader of The Order of the Solar Temple.
And to this you list you should add David Miscavige, "Captain" of the Sea Org, object of fear by 5000 completely dedicated Scientologists eager to amplify any insane thought he has. Are we fortunate that he gets his followers to corrupt governments (including the courts) or not? Honest government is so important that biological, chemical, or even nuclear attacks might be less damaging in the long run.
Among his insane thoughts is Flag Order 3905, which requires banishment or an abortion when a woman at "Gold Base" gets pregnant. Here is the 4th result you get from Google on "Flag Order 3905."
Is Scientology Breaking the Law? - Coerced Abortions ... The September 28, 1986 Flag Order No. 3905 forbade Sea Org members from having any more new children. The reason given by ED Int. ... www.scientology-lies.com/abortions.policy.html - 6k - Cached - Similar pages
There are zero children among the 735 adults at "Gold Base" (Golden Era Studios).
A cult that cut itself off from the future this way (like the gonad clipping Heaven's Gate cult did--litterly!) is a potential danger to itself or others.
Scientology is a problem the elected and appointed authorities are well aware of but they fear being abused by Scientology through the court system to the point nothing is done. Closely related fears permitted other cults, particularly the Aum cult, to grow into real problems.
Please keep this in mind.
