I just got off the phone with my bankruptcy lawyer.

It seems that the rules for conversion to Chapter 7 require me to appear April 29. The rules do permit appearing telephonically from a US Embassy.

Rosen has claimed before the court that he knows that if I do show up at the Embassy for this hearing I will be arrested and returned to the US.

There are two possibilities I can see. Rosen is lying before the US Bankruptcy Court, or Scientology really does have that kind of control over the US government.
