I've tried to refine my list of how Scientology hid from us this year. Could somebody follow up with a Hubbard quote on how low "hiding" is on the tone scale? The Church of Scientology prepared many ways to stop their members from seeing us picketers this year. 1) timing the destruction of their sidewalks to coincide with our coming to town 2) parking 8 U-Haul trucks to hide any picketers across from the Sandcastle Hotel 3) putting a tunnel over the sidewalk across from the Ft. Harrison Hotel. 4) putting barriers every 3 feet in the gap between the east curb and the tunnel across from the Ft. Harrison Hotel (the DOT made them take these down) 5) covering the first 3 floors of the Ft. Harrison Hotel with scaffolding and green mesh, thus closing the entire sidewalk 6) spray painting the 10 foot border around Co$ properties and saying ALL picketers had to stay out of that boundary (based on an incorrect interpretation of a court ruling in Bob Minton's case) 7) putting plywood over the building windows on the south east corner of Ft. Harrison and Cleveland 9) putting Santa Claus' big chair and decorations over the Bank building front entrance on Cleveland 10) carpooling Scientologists everywhere, even just 2 blocks away and rerouting vans when picketers were around 11) covering the van windows with decor and opaque material 12) security personnel keeping detailed reports of where every picketer was (frequencey 464.775) 13) putting children at tables on Cleveland street so the picketers would be afraid to appear to be picketing kids (see, they know WE have a conscience) 14) adding a thick row of Christmas trees above the bushes along the Sandcastle Hotel property. * * * *
