Several people, including myself, have been working on turning the TIF files from the Lisa McPherson investigation into text and HTML files. I've just webbed the first batch of output from the files I'm working on; find it here: http://www.scientology-lies.com/cpd/wholedocs.html The documents I've done so far include: Investigative Reports and Summaries * AMC Publishing Investigative Report * Anita Motley Investigative Report * Clearwater Police Department Reports Investigative Report * Craig Burton Investigative Report * Hospital records Investigative Report * Joseph Normandy Investigative Report * Shirley Cage Investigative Report * Steven and Carol South Investigative Report * Keri Lee summary * Roxanne Koelpin summary * Thomas Beilhart summary Interviews * Carol South Interview * Craig Burton Interview * Keri Lee Interview * Roxanne Koelpin Interview * Shirley Cage Interview * Steven South Interview * Thomas Beilhart Interview Statements * Rita Boykin Statement * Valerie Demange Statement In my opinion, the statements are the most informative; the interviews tend to be very good, too, but the transcriptions are a little wonky sometimes. (For example, there's an interview with Roxanne Koelpin, a nurse at Columbia hospital. The transcript quotes her as saying a doctor "incubated" Lisa McPherson; I'm sure she actually said he "intubated" Lisa. This is not a problem with the OCR software; it's a problem in the transcription, which you can confirm by looking at the TIFs.) (Actually, at some point, I hope to make it easy to link directly to the original TIF; at the moment you'd have to load the 400K, incomplete index file of all the TIFs and locate the file you want to see.) When I have time, I'll improve all this stuff (in collaboration with the other folks working on these files); for now, I thought it was most important to get the files up and available for people to read. If you'd like to help on this project, please contact Lronsscam (at AOL). If you find any errors in my work, please don't hesitate to e-mail me. I think they're in good shape, but I'm quite sure they're not perfect. Thanks, Kristi -- Kristi Wachter the activist formerly known as "Jour" (before $cientology outed me) I think $cientology is hurting people and breaking the law, and I want them to stop it.
