It looks like Ms. McPherson may have been in bad shape a year before her death, and had been steadily deteriorating during that time. It is impossible to tell just by the documents, but it seems to me that her mental state was also showing signs of illness. Her injured ankle and her dizzy spells worried her because she thought she was "PTS RD" and afraid of being assigned a "lower condition" of "teeason" because her failing health was adversely effecting "production" at AMC Publishing.
