A friend of mine managed to get something worthwhile out of her spring break trip to Florida. I asked her to swing by Clearwater to take a look at the McPherson case files for anything that looked new and interesting. She managed to take a few hours away from her beach time and did a good job. I will scan some of the documents that show what happened to Lisa and how scientology tries to put a spin on things. I am posting some of them or extracts from the documents so you see what they say. I believe they quite prove my point but you will be able to judge for yourself. That way you don’t have to listen to the screeching sound of scientology’s spins, courtesy of cult lawyer Moxon. IMHO, the documents show how scientology twisted this case to their advantage and then, in their usual fashion, launched a campaign to systematically destroy the plaintiff and anyone remotely taking issue with what was done to Lisa McPherson.
I never had any reservations saying that Moxon is a sleaze, but after reviewing the documents I was disgusted that such a person would be allowed to hold a license to practice law. It shows the Estate was not wrong in bringing this lawsuit and Bob did right in supporting it. One mistake may have been to bring the media into the fray because I personally think that their fear of broad media attention makes scientology fight that much harder. I hate playing Monday-morning-QB but it is well known that they will pay up and settle lawsuits on the condition of a gag order, but once the media is allowed broad access, they think there’s no way they can win unless they go berserk and fight.
I believe Ken Dandar made excellent points to poke holes into one of scientology’s twisters, when he pointed out that scientology paid huge money to their experts, yet they raise a stink when the German woman, Ursula Caberta, was paid to show up to testify.
It begs the question about who is actually paying Benetta Slut(er), who seems to be so much in the know when it comes to Lisa’s personal life.
scientology has also been yapping to the courts about how the LMT is responsible for all of the demonstrations in Clearwater. But anyone who was there knows that this is not true. In David Cecere’s deposition, he clearly says there was only *one* instance where people on the payroll of the LMT went out and picketed.
David Cecere also told about how scientology desperately tried to block LMT from coming into town - they even contacted the owners (threatened them?) to undermine the LMT’s efforts to rent an office.
It is obvious that scientology is out to get Ursula Caberta, not because of her assistance to the LMT but because she has effectively shut them down in Germany. In Cecere’s deposition he is upfront that Bob gave Caberta a loan, which Moxon promptly tries to twist into a payment for Ursula Caberta heading up an LMT office in Germany. But Cecere, who was the president of the LMT at the time, won’t confirm that - so, obviously Caberta was *not* picked to do that.
But scientology keeps trying to spin the facts. They filed the check that Bob gave Caberta, supposedly in "support" of their counterclaim. But this check proves nothing, since Ursula Caberta herself also said it was just a loan between friends. What cult lawyer Moxon and scientology refuse to accept is that loans, by definition, are not compensation but are being paid back.
scientology’s love for the double standard is obvious from a stupid motion filed by co-conspirator Moxon where he admits that The Profit *is* about scientology - after their PR people almost killed themselves telling everyone that it had nothing to do with the cult.
What might have been missed by many on ars is a gold mine of information filed by Ken Dandar "in opposition to summary judgment" last May. In it is an excerpt from a sworn statement by A. Kartuzinski about Lisa coming to the Fort Harrison to "rest." Thank you. Some nice, long "rest" she has had. This Kartuzinski fellow is either a totally callous individual (more probable than not, IMHO) or else he is too dumb to realize the sick irony in his choice of words.
Another revealing document filed by Ken Dandar is a deposition excerpt of David Minkoff, the medico scientology had placed at the hospital in the neighboring county so they could cover up their abuses. Dandar asked him what is more important, his medical practice or clearing the planet. Minkoff answered that they serve the same purpose. (Surprised anyone?)
With trial just around the corner, it looks like Ken Dandar now has these goons by the short hairs. It promises to be an interesting summer in Hubbardville, Florida.

Today, the judge in the case said that everyone knows roaches
bite living people. This is significant because it appears
that Scientology's requests to have this issue thrown out
are going to be denied.
Deana can explain this better.
