He lied to the police that he "had seen Lisa only once after he transported her from Morton Plant to Ft. Harrison." (Kartuzinski II at 166:6-22)

Kartuzinski claimed to have no explanation for the fact that Janice Johnson told the same lies as he had. (Kartuzinski II at 76:1-14)
