Yep, they're having a big "do" at the Celebrity Center in LA on Dec 6 and 7.

I don't think this should be overlooked. There will be plenty of minor TV celebrities, which is ironic, because the most famous Scientologist in the world is the one they killed in Clearwater. Nearly everyone has heard of Lisa McPherson. --

If you think about it from a slimy OSA PR perspective, it makes perfect sense: it gives them an excuse to get one of their famous "film permits" so they can shut down LRH Way. At least in LA. Yes, it is definitely tacky++, but let's face it, their major regret with regards to Lisa McPherson is that she had the bad manners to die at the "mecca of technical perfection" (tm).

Considering her demented slave-driving boss, and that stat-obsessed company for which she worked, she probably didn't get to attend many holiday parties before she died, either. Or if she did, she'd have felt guilty for not making more sales, and written it all up in her O/Ws.
