A few questions - thoughts over my morning coffee. Last night I spent several hours reading through the affidavits and depositions of individuals involved in the death of Lisa in Clearwater.

One question that was asked in all the interviews conducted by law enforcement officers that remained consistent was, "were you a member of the COS and are you now?"

Amazingly, after the tragic wrongful death of this young woman, all the respondents indicated they remained members of the COS. Respondents ranged from maids to medical doctors.

New to Alt. Religion Scientology but not misinformed about COS, I have a question or two.

It is my understanding that in order to become "clear" the process mandates that a person reveal, for lack of a better word, "secrets" about themselves, very personal issues that may be troubling them.

If this is in fact true, would it be plausible to believe that the reason we do not witness mass defections from the COS, (after members discover the real nature of the beast), is that the individuals fear that the information they have revealed would or could become public knowledge.

This would obviously be of concern to the innumerable celebrities that are currently affiliated with COS and other members as well. This would also explain why these individuals continue to contribute enormous amounts of money to COS.

Another question. Why in the hell were the direct caregivers of Lisa granted immunity from prosecution in return for their depositions? Dr. Minkin (sic?) had already blatantly lied and misled investigators prior to his last deposition with investigators where he was assured of immunity.

Speaking of the good doc, Is he still a practicing MD in Clearwater; Did the State of Florida Medical Board investigate his actions?

Also, (I forget her name) the caregiver that administered prescription drugs to Lisa, I believe she was former MD, not licensed to practice in Florida, what happened with her, was she successfully prosecuted?
