The United States Supreme Court has refused to hear the appeal sought by RTC, to review and reverse the decision of the Fifth Circuit of the United States Court of Appeal in New Orleans. The Fifth Circuit had completely vacated the judgments won by RTC against the Estate and its attorneys, agreeing the Team Dandar that RTC had brought suit in Texas federal court when there was never any jurisdiction in Texas.

There remains pending in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal the Estate's motion for sanctions against RTC and the Texas court's denial of RTC's motion for sanctions against Team Dandar.
