THE REASON BEHIND THE RECENT MARK BUNKER SPOOFS

I hereby confess to making these recent spoofs which Mark Bunker has recently posted to alt.binaries.scientology. Mark was not even aware that it was me doing it. I sent them to him under another pseudonym. I have been sending Mark various spoofs since the days of xenutv.

There are several reasons for doing it.

1. The Lisa McPherson Trust has a very serious agenda and takes a lot of heat for all of us, and I just wanted to create some levity for them. If I can get Mark, Bob and Stacy to laugh it surely helps them to get thru some pretty difficult days dealing with pressure from the cult and helping people with heartbreaking stories on a daily basis.

2. The L. Ron Hubbard Goggles Advert was not only a parody of Scientology advertising but also a metaphor for the state of mind of Scientologists. I believe that they are already walking around in that world.

3. I miss the humor of xenutv. This newsgroup is too serious at times and I like to make people laugh. Humor is a useful way of getting thru to people. If your sense of humor is gone then you know that you are a Scientologist.

4. I laughed my ass off doing it.

The fact that some people thought that it was real totally cracked me up. It just shows what kind of whacko stuff we have come to expect from the Church of Scientology. I just wonder how many people have been calling up their local Org to buy the LRH Goggles !
