Heads up for those with cable. WGN (a Chicago cable superstation) did a story tonight on the Chicago Police Department's Magical Disappearing Evidence Room. I'm not certain, but I *think* they rerun the news at some point, so check your listings.

The CPD Evidence Room has been in the news a lot recently. Just today, for the second time in as many months, evidence was stolen from the evidence room. They're also in hot water for destroying evidence for important trials, and have a long history of this sort of thing.

The FBI is now investigating.

Now might be a nice time for Mark Bunker to assist the FBI with another data point.

(... and they still haven't returned my call to investigate the theft of my credit card numbers, the bastages!)
