Subject: Scientology thugs attack Minton; Minton is arrested for defending himself.

I'm afraid that I overestimated the scientologists because I have been too afraid of underestimating them. The attack on Bob Minton caught me by surprise. This altercation says a lot about the current state of affairs.
To fully understand why this happened you have to put yourself in the mental/emotional place of a fully indoctrinated scientologist (S-H-U-D-D-E-R!!). Yes, scientologists, even fully indoctrinated ones, have emotions. Their emotions are perverted in the sense that their hate of things (psychiatry, medicine, etc.) is highly magnified and unreasoning. Their love and admiration is mostly directed toward Hubbard and those who typify him. They are repeatedly indoctrinated along the lines of global conspiracies against them and their religion[sic].
It's obvious to us that the efforts of the critics are starting to have effects. Scientology is on the run more than ever in its history. They have been losing in the legal arena. They have been out documented by critics and the mass media. They are being destroyed on the PR front. Fewer and fewer people across the world are willing to get involved with scientology and more and more active members are becoming inactive.
The scientologists don't see this situation as a failure in their technology. The technology is never wrong. The only failure is in the individual scientologist's willingness and ability to apply it. The "Keeping Scientology Working" (KSW) policies are the scientologist's reference on the subject.
Bob Minton is the Number One Target right now. He's seen as The Who for scientology's difficulties. The scientologists firmly believe that he's an agent of the German government. They believe that his mission is to recruit apostates, suppressive persons and degenerate provocateurs to foment overt and covert resistance to scientology.
The executives of all scientology orgs are regularly briefed about Bob Minton's activities and those of his associates. They hate him, and I mean really hate him and they fear him too.
These executives in turn brief the rank and file. They also push the rank and file's buttons heavily. The execs tell them in no uncertain terms that they must protect their religion[sic] from the suppressive forces that are at work in the world. In areas where "suppression" is high (like Boston) the execs berate the rank and file for not handling their respective zones of responsibility (see the "Specail Zone Plan" policy). The rank and file scientologist truly believes that his immortal future is at stake. They fear that they will lose the Bridge to Total Freedom.
That's why a public scientologist decided it was okay to slap Bob Minton. He was striking a blow agianst scientology's #1 Enemy. Scientologists across the world consider Offman and those who backed him up to be very brave and OT beings. Offman slapped the face of evil incarnate. He confronted "the #1 Suppressive Person the the planet".
This physical attack on Bob Minton will prove to yet another in a long line of Foot Bullets for scientology. I'm just glad that Bob wasn't hurt, and I hope that Offman is okay--he's been bamboozled and hasn't a clue.
I want to beseech any and all those who plan to picket to do so in a way that will avoid violence. Be extra cautious. The scientologists will be very pumped when they hear about Bob's arrest. They will be expecting retaliation. Please don't play into their warped perceptions. Let's all be Ghandis out there.
And watch your "six". Remember what Bob Minton said, "Scientology is hate masquerading as love."
