The following letter and attachment were received on December
26th by all residents of the Town of Sandown, New Hampshire.
JPEG's of these 2 documents as well as the envelope will be
posted on abs and abm. Pay particular attention to the Scieno
attempt to wrap their efforts in the American Flag as can be
seen clearly in the Jpeg of the letter.
When the scienos are reduced to this type of effort, you know we
are having the desired impact on their criminal organization.
If anyone would like to have a try at writing a two page letter,
I may use it to send out the truth about the scientologists to
residents of Sandown.
Many thanks,
Bob Minton

COMMITTEE ON CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS
AN OPEN LETTER TO SANDOWN RESIDENTS
My name is Maureen O'Keefe and I am a parishioner of the Church
of Scientology. While you may be aware of the on-going conflict
between Scientologists and Robert S. Minton, Jr. of 137 Fremont
Road here in Sandown, I realized that most have never been told
the truth of what this conflict is all about. The purpose of
this letter is -to-provide you with some basic facts of what the
situation is and why we have been demonstrating against Mr.
Minton here in your town.
About a year ago, I first became aware of Robert Minton when,
seemingly out of nowhere, he began verbally attacking my Church
and spreading vicious lies via the media and the Internet about
Scientology and its founder, L. Ron Hubbard. Since that time,
Mr. Minton has become increasingly vocal and violent in his
attacks on my Church and parishioners, myself included. He has
poured millions of dollars into funding what is nothing less
than a massive anti-religious hate campaign. The latest fact
sheet is enclosed.
On August 13, 1998, however, Robert Minton crossed the line as
far as I was concerned. On that day, while professing to be a
Scientologist, Mr. Minton tried to force his way into my Church
on Beacon Street in Boston. After I refused to allow him to
enter, Mr. Minton emphatically stated, "I am going to destroy
Scientology!" At that moment I decided that I was not going to
allow him to impede my Constitutional Right to freely practice
the religion of my choice.
Religious freedom is not contingent upon whether or not Robert
Minton happens to agree with my religious beliefs. It is my
right as an American just as it is every American's right,
including yours. All I have asked of Mr. Minton is that he
respect the religious beliefs of others. Our message to him is
quite simple: "You leave us alone. We'll leave you alone." It is
simply a matter of defending one's Constitutional Rights.
I'd like to thank you for listening and wish you and your family
a very happy holiday season and a prosperous 1999.
If you have any questions or would like to know what you can do
to help protect religious freedom, please feel free to write me
at the address below.
Sincerely,
Attached "Fact Sheet"
CREATING HATRED AND RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY
WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR MONEY TO SOMEONE WHO: is an accused child
molester? a wife beater? a former pornography editor? a member
of an anti-Semitic group run by the most influential neo-Nazi in
the world? a group which had been involved in kidnapping for
hire and which went bankrupt following a multimillion dollar
verdict for civil rights violations under the anti-KKK laws?
Didn't think so! But Sandown millionaire, Robert S. Minton,
apparently has no problem in doing so as part of a $2 million
plus anti-religious hate campaign against members of the Church
of Scientology.
FACTS THE PUBLIC SHOULD KNOW
Minton gave an estimated $60,000 to Arnaldo Lerma, a Virginia
man who lost a copyright -inftingement suit. brought-by the
Church Of Scientology's publishing arm, Bridge Publications.
Lerma is known for garnering the support and complete backing of
an infamous anti-Semite and neo-Nazi, Willis Carto, in his fight
against the Church of Scientology.
Minton purchased a $260,000 house in Washington state for
Vaughan and Stacy Young following which Minton began an affair
with Stacy, unbeknownst to his wife and two small children.
Minton paid $25,000 to Keith Henson, who was given a $75,000
fine and permanent injunction when he lost a copyright
infringement case filed by Bridge Publications. Henson is a
disreputable character. According to court records in Tucson,
Arizona, he was accused by his former wife of molesting his two
young daughters and demanded he pay for treatment for their
emotional damage.
Minton gave $5,000 to Dennis Erlich, who was sued for copyright
infringement by Bridge Publications. Years prior, Erlich was
accused by his wife and daughter of child molestation. Erlich
has been accused by two ex-wives of hitting them.
Minton gave thousands of dollars to Grady Ward. Ward settled a
copyright infringement suit for $3 million, agreeing to pay $200
a month for the rest of his life. Ward posted obscene rantings
on the Internet depicting Scientologists in his perverse
fantasies, prompting a federal judge to censor his statements as
some of the most disgusting he had ever seen.
Minton tried to bankroll the revival of the Cult Awareness
Network, a bankrupt anti-religious hate group which was closed
down following a multimillion dollar judgment for their
participation in the brutal kidnapping of a Pentecostal man.
Minton gave an estimated half a million dollars to the head of
FACTnet, another anti-religious hate group of which he is a
Director.
In July 1998, Minton fired a shotgun at several Scientologists
who had been protesting on public property against his actions.
In September 1998, Minton violently struck a Scientologist with
a stick outside of the Church of Scientology in Boston and was
arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
We support religious freedom and tolerance and call for an end
to the lies and hate.
