Scientology
Ben, I understand you've been making phone calls to a number of
public Scientologists recently, threatening to declare them if
they continue to communicate with certain people.
But Scientologists are beginning to realize that just because a
person is a Scientologist, it doesn't mean they forfeit their
First Amendment rights. One of those rights is Free Speech,
Ben. Another one is Freedom of Assembly. Scientologists have
the right to communicate with anyone they want to communicate
with, Ben, and they have the right to get together with anyone
they want to get together with, just like everyone else in the
United States.
I realize that you've been ordered to force these
Scientologists to do what they're told... or else. But from
what I'm hearing, I don't think your threats are frightening
them any more, Ben.
If you and the rest of Miscavige's henchmen don't change your
attitudes, your membership is going to start leaving your
Church in droves. In fact, from what I hear the exodus has
already begun. Scientologists know they don't have to subject
themselves to your abuse, Ben, and they're losing patience with
your thug tactics.
Try calling these guys back and apologizing for threatening
them. Then ask them why they're upset and LISTEN to what they
have to say.
Just a suggestion, Ben.
