Scientology
I am back from the Leipzig event. It was very nicely done. Bob's prize
was a painting of a church in a glass cylinder. Hard to explain, but it
is definitively a nice artwork. The stage had flowers, and a european
and a german flag. Four musicians played classical music and the US and
the European Hymns. Thomas Gandow, Joe Cisar, Ursula Caberta and Bob
Minton made speeches. Bob Minton spoke about how he remembered East
Germany from the past, i.e. when it wasn't free. (Leipzig is the city
where the people started to make trouble in 1989!). Bob will set up a
Lisa trust in WDC to educate politicians.
Scientology had announced a picket with 100 people but something went
wrong - apparently they found out the location of the event too late.
Sabine Weber was there, plus another guy and a camera operator who was
later involved in an incident with a critic who didn't want to be filmed
(I wasn't there, I only heard about something).
We had lunch at the legendary "Auerbach's Keller" while Sabine was
outside. I met some interesting people. You know who you are :)
