Get a load of this crap from the deposition of Ben Shaw on cross-examination by John Merrett:
10 A What I observed was that Mr. Minton walked past 11 Mr. O'Riely, and Mr. O'Riely walked south past 12 Mr. Minton. Mr. Minton then turned around, started 13 walking towards Mr. O'Riely, something was 14 obviously -- there was obviously discussion between 15 the two, because Mr. O'Riely, it is my opinion, 16 Mr. O'Riely turned around when Mr. Minton turned and 17 started walking him down, he walked toward 18 Mr. O'Riely. Mr. O'Riely backed up. Mr. Minton 19 started to put the sign down, put the sign down. His 20 hands then went towards Mr. O'Riely's neck. He held 21 him there briefly. And then put him in a head lock.
22 He then attempted to take his right foot and trip 23 Mr. O'Riely to the ground. He then clearly lost his 24 balance, he fell down to the ground, bringing 25 Mr. O'Riely with him in a head lock. He lost him in ROBERT A. DEMPSTER & ASSOCIATES 56 1 the head lock for a minute and grabbed him down on the 2 ground, holding Mr. O'Riely on top of him. Then 3 around that point in time I had gotten out of my car, 4 I was running towards the incident. Also I noticed 5 Jeff Jacobsen, who was videoing the entire incident, 6 coming towards them, Randy Enerson, who was another 7 individual who was picketing ran over there. And a 8 couple other individuals, attempted to pull the two 9 apart. The pull -- the two were pulled apart. At 10 that point in time I was there. I said, back off. I 11 asked him to back off. Mr. Minton looked at me, he 12 said, he walked straight toward me and walked into me 13 and said something like, get out of here Ben, or 14 something like that.
Translation: Bob Minton, according to the head of OSA in Flag, aggressively fell to the sidewalk, viciously pulling Neil Joseph O'Reilly ("Joe Neal") on top of him and then violently held Neil on top of him.
And we're expected to believe this nonsense.
