Oh, thank you so much for bringing this up, how every
~unexpected~ (NOT <g>).
What Keith Wyatt is referring to here, encompasses the time that my husband committed suicide. Bob Minton was aware of who I was, from reading my posts on ars for years as an activist about the lies and abuses of the Co$, before I even knew who Bob Minton was.
After my husbands suicide, and the way in which it happened, I ~WAS~ left emotionally and mentally devestated, I was a complete mess, to put it bluntly and factually. But you already knew that . . . remember, you even sent me a sympathy card.
Because his death was by suicide . . . I was soon to learn after the bills came rolling in, that his life insurance was not going to pay . . . then his second life insurance was not going to pay . . . the mortgage insurance was not going to pay . . . ad infinitum.
I was looking at losing my home and everything else I owned at a time when I was still walking around in shock . . . Bob, God love him, stepped in and ~yes~, he gave me money (and yes, Co$ already has all the details).
He helped me to make it through the time when I was recovering, and made it able for me to survive while going to school to study and learn a profession so as to be able to take care of my ownself . . . It was a long, and slow, and hard process, but I made it, and a lot of that was thanks to Bob Minton, who helped me to get my life back together again.
And my dear, it was not just the money, though who can deny that money does help get things done . . . Bob was there with just listening and understanding, and always had words of encouragement, compassion, and true caring about me and what I was doing.
So don't think that bringing up that Bob "gave me money"
is going to fly as trying to say I'm paid to post . . . I post about Co$ at ~NO~ charge, always have . . . and will continue to do so until the issues that I have made them, and also to Davey which I gave on video as taken by his PI in CW, are addressed.
It is very simple for Co$ to stop me having anything to say about them, it simply takes this . . . Co$ . . . get honest.
But I would like to thank you Keith, for giving me yet another chance to thank Bob for his kindness at a time when I was completely on the edge of falling into the pit.

*Gasp*! Someone giving another person money out of kindness and
caring for another human being, with no thought of reward or profit?
How out exchange! Listening to them in their troubles with no charge for "counselling"? What?!?
There still are really wonderful people in the world - people who give without concern for receiving, people who are willing to help other people without thought of reward, people who _care_ about people. Bob certainly seems to be one of them. That's a very good thing.
Scientology certainly seems to be the opposite. If there's nothing in it for them they want nothing to do with it - and will try to criticise people who do.
I can certainly see why scientology and gunbunny would react negatively to this and try to spin it in an unfavourable light.
Thanks for posting this reply to gunbunny, Bev. I was really touched by the genuine caring, shown in it, of both yourself and Bob.
