As I sit at my desk, I ponder the actions of those of you who have gone out of your way to destroy Bob Minton, Stacy Brooks, the LMT, and its staff. I cannot help but wonder what some of you expect of people. What level of endurance and commitment do you expect from them? The answer is clearly much more than you are willing to provide yourselves.

The staff at the LMT has exposed themselves, their lives, and their privacy in an effort to help scientologists and those who care about them. These people have lived at ground zero, literally strangers within a strange land - interlopers into the world that belongs to scientology. Ridiculed, tormented, disdained and under surveillance - they persevered.

Some will point out that some LMT staff, board members, and advisors are former members who should have been aware OSA tactics. While this is true, the operative word here is former. Scientologists view former member as traitors; therefore treated far worse than the average critic will ever think to be. However, no former member is really prepared for the assaults they experience upon leaving. Despite this, these folks courageously endeavored to apply their knowledge and skills to expose the cult for what it is. They have assisted people to exit the cult. They have provided video evidence, testimony which survives regardless of the future of these individuals. Bob, Stacy, Mark, Jeff and others simply could have ignored the world of scientology, but they did not. Rather, they established a beachhead.

I wonder how many of you would be willing to endure the personal attacks that members of the LMT have suffered. How would you like to be Mark Bunker, who has been personally attacked, and been to court to prove his innocence? What about Jesse Prince and the attacks upon him, orchestrated by our favorite people? The levels of torment and litigation endured by Stacy Brooks and Bob Minton go beyond anything I have witnessed in my life.

I wonder how much you expect of Bob Minton? Do you want him impoverished, lacking sufficient funds to support not only himself, but people who depend upon him? Do you want Bob out on the street with a tin cup, soliciting change? Who among you is financially supporting Bob? Are any of you reading this responsible for Bob's welfare? Do you pay Bob's bills? Do you pay the overhead of the LMT? Good, now that we have established the facts that you are not, please explain why you feel it is your right to know everything Bob's business, or that of the LMT. It is long past the time for some people who chronically complain about Bob and the LMT to understand that while you have a right to your opinion, your opinions do not count in the lives of others. You do not have a right to demand explanations from Bob, nor any other member of the Trust.

Is Bob perfect? No! Is Stacy perfect? No! Am I perfect? Far from it!

Are you? Well, judge for yourself. Suffice it to say that none of us are perfect. I sure would hate to have my entire life open to display.

Nevertheless, that is the case of the LMT and its staff living in Clearwater. I wonder how many of you would endure the challenge of a microscopic investigation?

Frankly, those of you who constantly whine, hurl accusations, and consistently defame those at the LMT -- you know who you are -- have gotten your wish. Congratulations, you did OSAs job for them. Pat yourselves on the back now, go on liberty, enjoy your victory. You have succeeded in doing all you can to wreck havoc upon an organization of individuals who assumed the responsibility that you gutless wonders lack.

You share much in common with the terrorists. They can crash an airplane, but they cannot build one. You can help to minimize the effect of a group of individuals who built what you could never think to build. The likes of Chigger rambles incessantly about management practices, yet she cannot manage to shut her mouth long enough to think a critical thought. Others have a much longer track record of attempting to defame the Trust. I hope they never choke on their venom. Still others have thrown away friendships in order to pursue the goal of disgracing the Trust. Unfortunately, these folks have only succeeded in disgracing themselves. The people at the Trust have displayed grace under pressure; truly class acts one and all. I admire, salute, and respect these individuals. For those of you who have done so much to defame these courageous individuals, I have nothing but scorn and contempt.
