If one were reading ARS for the first time, one would wonder what kind of
person Bob Minton is. The individual reader might pause in their readings
and ponder how opinions can vary so dramatically. The reader may want to
evaluate why a man who apparently donated $1.3 million to a trial could be
reviled by so few.
A pack of ARS hounds appear to have gone rabid. Some screech like dejected
playground bullies pointing at the horrors of Bob and Stacy. One would
think these individuals were modern day criminals, out to bilk the public,
the "critics" and society. One would never suspect, unless one understood
differently, that Bob had contributed so much to exposing those things that
were so wrong with scientology.
Bob Minton, Stacy Brooks and other members of the LMT put themselves in harm
's way. Their life was not their own in Clearwater, and it was a life
financed by Bob. Yes, Bob was just fine with many when his deep pockets
financed the trial, the LMT, and so ably financed so many critics. Bob even
financed a movie for a couple of apparent Hollywood wannabes.
But along the way Bob became ill, tired of devoting his life to "The Cause,"
and apparently pulled back. He even disassociated himself with the
Hollywood wannabes. The pack of hounds disliked this idea. After all,
several of them had been busy demanding, for some time, the details of the
life of Bob and the LMT. Never mind that with Bob paying the bills it was
none of their business.
However, these defenders of the critics, guardians of the public good,
demanded to know the intimate details of the LMT and its members. After
all, if the hounds demand you to respond, they believe you must answer all
their questions, despite the fact it is none of their business.
All I have seen of Bob and wrongdoing is his actually his attempt to do
right. I believe Bob felt he was doing so for the benefit of all. Was he
wrong? Yes, but he has attempted to make it right. What more can one ask?
I do not know, unless one happens to be a shrill. I suppose this group will
not be satisfied unless Bob is burned at the stake.
So now the righteous, clocked in indignity, will continue in their attempts
to defame Bob. I say this to Bob and Stacy: Good luck with your future and
your time together. After all, you both deserve the best. You a good people
and thanks for all you did. Enjoy your life together; live those lives
completely and fully. Seize all there is before you, and ignore the unhappy
shrills. It is not you they actually hate, rather, it is themselves in
which they find no fulfillment.
To the guardians of ARS, those who have falsely cloaked themselves in this
mockery of righteous indignation, I ask you this: Who will guard the
guards?
