Jim, I appreciate that people have questions.

If you read Stacy's testimony on what brought Bob and Stacy to the position they are in you will see exactly what has happened.

Bob got in a hell of a legal jam trying to avoid questions that probably never should have been allowed to have been asked to begin with.

The case was turned into a case about Bob Minton and not Lisa McPherson. The judge is saying now what I have been saying all along...who cares how much money Bob gave to the estate? Who cares if the estate was going to give a large chunk of the money to an anti-cult group?

However, Ken panicked and said, "Listen we have to backtrack on this."

Why on earth would Bob Minton announce in public that the estate was going to donate money to an anti-cult group if that wasn't the case?

Wouldn't they say, "What the hell are you talking about? We aren't going to do that."

Instead, Bob and the family all had testified that was the case and when Ken panicked he convinced them all to write affidavits that were knowingly false.

No one wants to confront the testimony that shows that to be true. No one wants to confront the fact that Dandar was demanding Bob hide the other $750,000 given to the case and to continue lying about that when Bob had to face a trial for contempt..

Bob was under relentless pressure from ALL sides. Not only was Scientology attacking, but so were "his friends."

Bob was isolated from friends and family by Scientology and isolated from the critical community by the relentless attacks from people such as Deana who is the official voice for the family of Lisa McPherson on the web and claims to be the sole owner of open court records supplied to her from Dandar's office.

At the same time, he is being hounded about not giving MORE than 1.3 million dollars to the case, Bob knows he's already given another $500,000 on top of that and for his trouble he has been put in terrible jeopardy.

Meanwhile. he is being called by a desperate Dandar who is begging for even more money while the onslaught of legal attacks from Scientology, vicious attacks from friends and pressure from Schaeffer and Baird's courtrooms continues to build. As painful as it was for Bob to do, he agreed to give one last check to get the case to trial because he did want justice for Lisa and all he asked was for Ken to make the people who interface with him to just SHUT THE HELL UP!.

I don't blame him. I have never for a moment thought about stopping my work due to anything Scientology has done to me but I am so sick and tired of the crap that goes on in the "critic community" that I am about ready to walk away because of it.

I don't wish ill will on Ken but he's not the saint that people believe him to be nor is Bob the devil he is being painted to be. Ken should have stopped being so greedy and brought in one of those firms that offered to help instead of relying solely on Bob to get him to trial.

He should have thought about his client before his bank account. My god, wasn't anyone else horrified when Dell was on the stand and she testified she didn't even realise she would be held liable if she lost the counter claim? Is Ken really acting in the best interests of his client?

Bob's attorney told him to tell the truth. Bob did.
