Why on Earth did the St. Petersburg Times suddenly reissue
a story on Judge Schaeffer right now, of all times? Scientology
has just "persuaded" two former critics, Bob Minton and Stacy
Brooks, to turn traitor, and to spew perjury.
http://www.operatingthetan.com/bob/ has the perjuries.
Judge Schaeffer is not seeming at all happy with this attempted
perversion of justice, and has expressed displeasure from the
bench.
Suddenly, Judge Schaeffer is attacked by the St. Petersburg Times
in an article about another Judge, Judge Cope. It accuses her of
having "conspired" with Judge Cope not to report an arrest of Judge
Cope for an alleged lurid crime in California. However, if she was
not obligated to report this crime (that was already being handled
by the police), she could not have "conspired" to do anything at all.
You can only "conspire" to do something illegal. The SP Times
is skirting libel pretty narrowly (and for what?).
That's this story.

The funny thing is this identical story has already appeared twice, over
a year ago. Why suddenly report it again now as if it's news?

http://www.festivalofreading.com/News/020801/TampaBay/Circuit_judges_elect_.shtml
are two previous stories mentioning this case.
I don't see anything new or exciting in the latest version of it, so why is this
"news" again? I smell bullshit, and bullshit smells like OSA.
