Okay, put yourself in Bob's shoes.
You have spent ten million fighting Scientology. Scientology starts
up its vast legal machine, and hurls its full legal & investigative
artillery against you, and you know it will never stop until you are
either in jail, penniless, or mostly likely both, and on top of that,
the railroading of a relative is a strong possibility, which is
probably one of Scn's targets to get at you even more.
Your choice is to continue on with the above scenario which will
inevitably come to fruition or....
Do as Bob is doing, the consequence of which is alienating those
critics who, without so much as consulting you in the first place,
would turn against you.
Which seems like the lesser of two evils?
I say ease up on Bob, since we cannot fathom the incredible pressure
and stress to which he is being subjected by Scientology. How
quickly some forget about all the good things he has done, far more
than many of us. I may disagree with some of the things, choices he
made, and so forth, but I also realize none of us are perfect, and
his situation is really beyond my comprehension in terms of just how I
would behave if I were in his shoes.
So I am willing to let Bob be, thank him for his efforts in the past,
and if he ever gets beyond this quagmire into which he has fallen,
good luck on his future life, wherever it may lead him.
