All the fuss about Minton is irrelevant to the Lisa McPherson case:
"If the monies received by either the Estate or Dandar from Minton are
irrelevant to the wrongful death case, as determined by the Second
District, there can be no perjury or subornation of perjury regarding
Dandar or Minton's testimony about their ownership or purpose. That is so
because perjury involves something 'material' to a case."

a.r.s. may be Scientology's Vietnam, but
the attacks on Minton are the critics' My Lai.

No, not yet. It means Scientology will appeal the ruling. Note the
last line:
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that no Motion for Reconsideration will be entertained.
This is an attempt to avoid the inevitable playing around with "motions for
reconsideration" and other time-wasting nonsense and move it right up to
the appeal court. Don't be surprised if Scientology doesn't try to take it
as far up the appeals ladder as humanly possible. If they manage to find
a court fool enough to give them oral arguments or an evidentiary hearing,
they have a repeat of the same dog and pony show (I don't expect this
horror, at least).
