The criminal court is not be bound by Schaeffer's opinion on the
credibility of Jessie Prince. The order and occurance of these
circumstances tend to show a case of blackmail and extortion. The
testimony only complements the questionable circumstances. Minton's
"overnight" 180 degree change in opinion, attitude, and action is
unignorable. Schaeffer appears to be relying on Ca Evid.C. 780(f) .
However, religious beleifs, or lack thereof, are not grounds for
credibility impeachment according to Ca Evid.C. 789:
"789. Evidence of his religious belief or lack thereof is
inadmissible to attack or support the credibility of a witness."
Although Prince lacks Scientology religious beleifs such of "fair
game" , and other Scientology beleifs which he feels are destructive,
his credibility cannot be impeached on these grounds. Any reliance on
Ca Evid.C. 780(f) in a seperate criminal matter is bound by the
criminal courts seperate determination. Ca Evid.C. 780(f), if
applicable, can be equally applied to Scientology-biased witnesses,
like Rinder, and Scientology attorneys who's sole pratice is
Scientology litigation. In comparison, while Jessie Prince may be a
tad biased, its Rinders JOB to protect the public relations of the
Church of Scientology. His JOB, which is distinct from his BELIEFS.
The state has never had a stronger case against OSA. Many critics
share a common fear which lingers from the past encounters of their
formidable foe. This fear not only decreases their confidence and
morale, but lessons their general trust in the judicial system.
A Church has more sway over most government and judicial bodies then
an individual. The word "Church" in itself has connotations of a good
entity. Most government and judicial bodies are overworked. The most
work, their hardest work, would be that work which is controversial ,
especially that which involves the press. Therefore, these
government and judicial bodies would unconsciously give the critics
the "run around". This is no claim that some agencies or bodies
aren't infiltrated, but at least some of the infiltration is an
illusion.
I am glad the civil case is in Schaeffer's good hands. Don't let
Rinder fool you. He's just as nervious as Minton is. I have't found
any rules limiting the quantities, duplications, overlaps , of any
kind of existing criminal complaints. As long as the form is filled
out correctly. If I were the a critic, I would not let one of my
boys go to jail and watch Rinder use Minton like a puppet. ALL of the
US government is NOT in bed with OSA. There are both good and bad
people everywhere, including OSA, and the United States Government.
You may be a little scared of OSA, but the Church of Scientology, by
the words of LRH, are utterly terrified of the United States
Government.
I leave USENET now without guilt knowing that I have done my very best
to help my fellow man. I have left you something unique you will
perceive when the time is right. Its up to you, not me, to use it.
I only hoped others could be freed to enjoy their lives as much as I
plan to enjoy mine.
