Yet there is no more ethical [according to our redefinition of 'ethical'] group on this planet than ourselves."

This is the basis for $cientology's justification for doing everything they do - i.e., to "Keep $cientology Working". They firmly believe that they know best, and it is their belief that they, as Clears and OTs, are superior beings. Make no mistake about it - $cientology's intention is to be in charge of EVERY government in the world.

Often at "musters" while in the Sea Org, the whole staff would chant in unison: "WE are going UP while the WORLD is going DOWN!!"

Think long and hard about this...
