From e-mail sent to my hotmail.com account it seems some people are confused about my "motives" behind my objection to narCONon. This regardless of the fact that I thought I have been abundantly clear on the subject. Here it is, once again:

1) I do not "hate" narCONon. I object to fraudulent businesses that take advantage of hurt, confused, fearful, and damaged individuals. This objection of mine isn't limited to narCONon and Scientology.

2) I do not "hate" Scientologists. I defend Scientologists' civil and human rights by criticizing the criminal enterprise that victimizes and swindles them. One does not defend people one "hates."

3) If narCONon ever produces evidence that it does what it claims it does, I will happily, eagerly, and emphatically support narCONon, and cheer for narCONon in the streets, and praise it in song and dance, provided it shows it....

• is safe
• is effective
• doesn't turn drug addicts into Scientology addicts

As it is, evidence shows that not only is narCONon not safe and not effective, but it *PREVENTS* people from seeking valid health care for their drug and alcohol addiction. Few people can afford to pay for both voodoo witch doctoring (narCONon, to the tune of $22,000) and valid medical treatment---- they choose the one that they believe promises the greatest probability of success, regardless of if that promise is, ever can be, or ever has been realized.

People throughout the world abandon, or don't even try, valid medical treatment for their illnesses, but rush to "faith 'healers,'" bullshit artists, scams, swindles, fakes, frauds, and fuckheads in the belief that doing so will provide them more effective "treatment" than contemporary medicine. They end up dead, maimed, crippled, and disfigured because what they believed was and is fundamentally antithesical to reality. While they have the right to seek these worthless "treatments," the crooks that provide these "treatments" do not have the right to provide them (two vastly different issues).
