Narconon International president Clark Carr has had it with the suppressive persons who are criticizing his drug treatment and education scam. From Robin Jacob's article in The Humanist:

Carr also acused the San Francisco Chronicle of running a campaign with an agenda against Scientology, describing some contributors to the Chronicle story as "hatemongers" who disparage Narconon's program. "It just makes me want to punch someone in the nose," he said.

I contributed to and was quoted by name in that article. So now Clark Carr wants to BEAT ME UP? Or does he want to beat up Nanette Asimov?

Is this the way the head of a charitable organization responds to criticism: by making terroristic threats?

Carr continues to play the angry kook, as you can see in his response to the California task force recommendation to boot Narconon from the public schools, quoted in the latest Asimov article:

Clark Carr, president of Narconon International, disputed the findings and emphasized that the Narconon program opposed drugs of all kinds, including drugs used to treat addictions. He accused the medical society of preferring programs that rely on a useless "drug-based medical solution.''

"We have the results," he said. "The 'review' from biased sources shows that people who endorse so-called controlled drug use cannot be trusted to review a program advocating totally drug-free living.

Maybe Mr. Carr wants to beat up the task force members too? Don't think the state hasn't considered that possibility. The task force members' names are being withheld by the California Department of Education to protect them from Scientology harassment.
