Hi All,
I should set this one up. One of my friends knows that I'm a critic of Scientology. As a joke, she sent in my e-mail address to Narconon (a COS "drug recovery" group). Of couse, she didn't tell me this until I got their e-mail.
To make a long story short, I told them I had no interest (not a drug addict, don't like Scientology, etc. etc.) "Samantha" then responded saying that Narconon has nothing to do with Scientology! Anyway, here is the e-mail for your viewing enjoyment. Now, I have to go have a talk with my so-called "friend." <g>

We can easily remove your email address and info from our mailing list. Just to let you know our organization is not a part of Scientology. Thank you.

Dear Ma'am,
Actually, I did not request any information from your site. In fact, it was a joke by a friend of mine because she knows that I personally do not subscribe to the Scientology "religion" (which your organization is part of), and in fact I am a critic of Scientology.
Please remove all information you have on me, including but not limited to:
1) my e-mail address
2) phone number(s)
3) address
4) any other personal informationPlease confirm that you have done the above. Thank you,
Elizabeth

what I think is that they will get into word clearing "part" "of" in order not to admit to blatant lying.
BTW this same lie about Narconon not being a part of Scn is what got them into deep shit in Oklahoma in the first place. I got a call about Narconon from Bob Lobsinger, publisher of the Newkirk paper, who had heard rumors that Narconon was a part of Scn, and was opening a drug treatment facility on an Indian Reservation at Chiloco. I sent him my originals of the Scn Command Channels clearly showing Narconon there, as well as other Scn promo re Narconon and Scn.
These are probably up on a website somewhere if anyone is interested enough to do a search.
