It's nothing new, actually. thinkclearly.org was registered by CSI way back on 13 October 2000. (Ironically, "Think Clearly" is the defunct trademark of a Canadian drinks corporation!)
I'm sure that the current publicity push on Purification is largely the result of the faith-based initiative. We know Scientology is interested in faith-based funding, because it's said so publicly. What I think will happen is that where it's convenient to do so, Scientology will push the Purif openly, and where the Scientology name isn't welcome, it will operate through Narconon, Criminon and Second Chance. It's all essentially the same thing, but the only real difference is in how it's presented to the public.

Well hot dog! Maybe they have FINALLY published a study that shows Narconon is safe and effective.... I'll go look right now and see.
[Looking, looking, looking.....]
Damn, not there either. Though they have a link that reads "Church of Scientology International Presents Effective Drug Solutions" which sure does sound like FINALLY a source of factual data about Narconon. Let's go see http://www.drugsalvage.org/

Golly, a much larger web site and it actually has a link claiming to FINALLY present "validation" for the crime syndicate's worthless "drug treatment program." Let's see http://www.drugsalvage.org/page04.htm

Aw hell: no such "validation" is presented. Bloody hell. Here I had my hopes up that *FINALLY* Scientology Inc. would produce evidence that Narconon is both safe and effective. What a dissapointment! I'm crushed, but ever hopeful that maybe, someday, if we all pray to god very hard and lead pious lives, Scientology Inc. will produce such evidence.
