Heads up -
Michael Wisner is the featured speaker at a seminar "based on Clear Body, Clear Mind" on Sunday, March 16th at the Senior Recreation Center, 1450 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica. It's free and open to the public.
This is the perfect opportunity to confront Wisner with the questions being fired around this newsgroup:
What qualifies him? He's variously listed as a "renowned toxins expert," a "toxicologist" and even an "Environmental Scientist." He authored a cutesy book with Kirstie Alley and some similarly non-credentialed guy, but what's his education background? His "peer-reviewed" studies and "empirical evidence" for the efficacy of the Purif are only to be found on Bridge Publications and/or Narconon-affiliated websites. What about niacin and it's toxic effects on the liver? Water Solubility of radiation and niacin flushing-as-an example of radiation and toxin elimination? What kind of professional medical supervision is there over the Purif/Narconon protocols? Dehydration? Why no AIDs victims allowed on the Purif at the orgs? So many questions...
I have seen some intelligent discourse on the Purif hocus-pocus here, and would love to see an account of a Q&A with Wisner published here, if not somewhere else. I know this message serves as a heads-up for Scientology to be on guard at this event, and they will probably limit the opportunity for questions & answers as a result, but it really is worth a try. I'd go and report back, but I know there are many more of you here armed with the facts and debating skills to expose this fraud. Anyone free this Sunday evening?
