I got my first piece of Scn'gy literature in a long, long time. It's about Narconon. The problem is, I don't see either Hubbard or Scn'gy mentioned on this piece of literature.
It claims a 75% cure rate and also offers a CD of "photos, documents, studies, charts and videos." You can order one from 1(800)876-6378. I shall ware you, though. Your mail will never be relieved of Scn'gy cult literature.
On both this sheet of piece of junk mail and on their web site they say:
(c) 2000. Narconon Newport Beach. All rights reserved. Narconon is a trade and service mark owned by the Association for Better Living and Education and used with its permission.
They aren't even referring to Hubbard or Scn'gy at all. I checked their site and it only makes one mention of Hubbard, but nothing of Scn'gy as far as I can tell. Is the RTC now getting too popular to hold the rights to Narconon?
A link on the page mentions clinically backed success rate, but I see no tests that it refers to. It also claims a success rate of 70% on the site, but adds another 5% to the cult literature; that's 75% success rate. What happened? Did they lose 5% of their success rate or something? These guys can't get anything straight.
And this one gets me the most: "Most insurance plans are accepted." How do they do that?
Their website is at http://www.addictionca.com if you are interested.
