I recently sent a letter to the Winston-Salem Journal because they were allowing the criminal cult of Scientology to promote its dangerous and unproven Narconon program in the free listings section for non-profits.
The editor learned that Narconon was not the same thing as NA and that Narconon was not offering any free meetings and that Narconon was not a support group.
And the editor, Elina Peurifoy, just informed me this morning that the WSJ would no longer allow Narconon to abuse the free-listing service that is reserved for groups that provide free and very low cost support group meetings.
So Narconon, if you want to put your ads in the Winston-Salem Journal, you'll need to get out your checkbooks from now on.
No wonder Scientology hates the Internet!

Wow, Simkatu scores two big wins in one week!
Excellent work, Sir. Surely here will be extra Prozac in your goodie bag next Thursday. Maybe even the chocolate-covered kind.
You have to wonder what the poor slobs at OSA are thinking these days. Here we have a whole crew of SPs systematically chopping off tentacles of the Scientology/Narconon/Applied Scholastics octopus, and what are THEY doing about it? Making moronic posts to ARS. This suits me just fine. Keep it up, lamebrains, and we'll see how well your "tech" works against an army of SPs who are all on a first name basis with Xenu.
Scientology *should* hate the Internet. It's killing them.
